Great Brief Intro Video ! Pandas Quick EZ But Dirty !! Thankx !! eg Stock Price stddev plot BUT CANNOT Interactively move through the PLOT as you would say in Excel ie Yes Pandas could no doubt with line of code find the Max & Min or Other points & Areas of Interest BUT OFTEN we data Analysts like to get a feel for the NEIGHBOURHOODs of Interest which Pandas DOES NOT do ! But great for Quick (dirty) Initial Analysis perhaps ...besides that Plots in XL are pretty simple & Quick when they work ie for Large Data sets Excel Plots OFTEN run into various problems as a DIRECT CONSEQEUNCE of OFFERING Real Time Interaction Possibilitys.... ie RT change a SPECIFIC Cell OR SPECIFIC RANGE OF VALUES Value (outlier / error etc) manually & Change the PLOT in Real Time BUT then as a VBA Excel Programmer Once You know those Tools nothing compares except for the CUSTOM Programs NECESSARY for Advanced Math Stat Calculations to tack on to XL etc Given NP Complete Theorems MOST (not ALL?) Fully Logical tools are essentially Equivalent eg ALL 3G Programming Languages or ALL Full Calculii so Horses for Courses just my 2 cents
