I would love to see more architecture concept videos on your channel, I know tutorials are you bread and butter but really they only have a narrow audience, when you talk about big picture stuff it should be interesting to everyone in the industry. Keep up the great work!

Hi Balkan Architect, many thanks for this great introductory video into parametric design. I am wondering if you think parametric design on a computer can help create DYI projects, which people can build on their own, but example in poorer parts of the world where people have limited recourses and built their own shanty house, etc., or DYI in terms of parametric programmed, but self built artistic structures within a budget constraint. I find these two scenarios super interesting, when thinking about the potential relevance of parametric design in our society. If you have any thoughts or perhaps know of any projects related to my question, that would be amazing. Have a nice day and hope to hear from you.

The construction costs are fluid, market-determined and location-specific; parametric data are simply missing, so building within a budget is not going to work this way.

Why do buildings and architecture drawings in parametric design tend to look kind of similar, with a lot of curvy, liquid metal-y shapes? Is it because this look is most likely to fulfill all the requirement/ parameters given to the architect?
