Thanks for the education. What are the common applications indoor and outdoor?

Thank you for the education. We have a stack (about 3' high and 4' wide) of reclaimed 1" pecky that was on the wall of someones family room and based on your description I'm going to say that this wood is 40%+ pecky. Some of the pieces I would even put at 60%-70% pecky. At what point does it become "too pecky" and the value diminish? The lumber varies from 6" - 12" wide and is in 8' and 10' lengths. We are considering selling it because it has been sitting unused for 20 years and don't want to overcharge but also don't want to give it away. Thank you.

Is this the same stuff we call cypress pine in Australia, it usually comes in 19mm floor boards and it has a very nice smell

Do you have the scientific name for the tree that the timber comes from?
