I have a headache from sun bad weather and when i have my period and i have dizziness for long months doctor said it is BPPV and i had exercise that doctor told me to do i did after some time it was gone but it came back after i got sick with flu and now it is still there and i have know idea what is it BPPV or vestibular migrain! Can some one help me to find out what is it exactly?

I had BPPV 3 years ago but I got it treated with Epley. But before I got it treated, I developed depersonalization and derealization. Today I was working talking to my friend, everything was great and normal then suddenly I got a sensation in my head like my brain was suddenly spinning. It only lasted a few seconds but I've experienced this alot but never to this intensity i experiencd today. Could this still be a vertigo?

Hi! Vertigo is the incorrect perception of moving, sliding, or spinning (in your brain/body, or the room is moving). Depersonalization/derealization is not a part of vertigo, but it's a different protective mechanism your brain goes into, which often is not helpful! Always be sure to talk to your doctor about it!

@@thevertigodoctor yeah I've talked to my doc about it but he's not super knowledgeable. I do experience the feeling like my head is spinning sometimes

my vng result suggest that i have peripheral vestibular disorder. i dont have nystagmus yet my right ear shows low calorific value. My ent prescribed me betahistine , i take it for 2 weeks. After that i notice that my symptoms are coming back again. My ent told me that it can be cured but it not what happened . I already restricted my diet cut off my COFFEE

A peripheral vestibular disorder cannot be 'cured' because the nerve doesn't grow back, but what he means is your brain will relearn how to navigate your new normal, ultimately eliminating/reducing your dizziness! not all people need to limit their diet with a peripheral disorder, most people are sensitive to caffeine with central disorders, but of course everyone is different!!

@@thevertigodoctor thank you for your response up until now o could feel that my vestibular is messing up with my vision. By any chance do you think wearing a prism glasses with just small amount of diopter power will make a difference to improve the way i percieve things? i really value your opinion

Hi,i have the same issues too.Recently i noticed that my dizzyness will get worst after coffee (to the point of near-fainting) and i dont know why.Had stop coffee for now.
