Look this. If You now understand what is Pi You may understand my explanation. This video is interesting and deep explanation what is Pi. Please consider it. We have much more tricky formulas to use to calculate the value of Pi. In my opinion, the value of Pi can be calculated in a much easier way. We have the formula Pi = Phi^2 + RC . Phi is the golden number, RC (royal egyptian cubit) is equal Pi/6 so we have Pi = Phi^2 + Pi/6 and hence Pi - Pi/6 = Phi^2 and then 5*Pi = 6*(Phi^2) so Pi = 6*( Phi^2)/5 We know that we can get a good approximation of Phi by dividing the largest possible values of the Fibonacci series. The values of the sequence can be calculated using the formula: f(n)=f(n-2)+f(n-1) so let's take this notation let's substitute it to calculate Phi, so Phi = f(n) / f(n-1 ). I substitute these values into the formula and we have Pi = 6 * ( f(n) / f(n-1) )^2) / 5 So this is another and rather new formula for calculating the value of Pi. Do you understand? There was no such formula before to calculate the value of Pi. Maybe you should nominate me for the Abel Prize? 😁 Maybe aliens will come to shake my hand after all... 😜

@@InfinityLearn_NEET they will never find the answer to pi. 3.14 will go on forever. the cirle is no diferent to a straight line that never ends. for it to end means it becomes the start and is not the end at all as how would you know its the end if it the start. its the reason you cannot touch anything. if you touch it you are it. there is nothing here but an illusion of cycles. the diameter is also infinate. i say to my mates after i draw a circle where is the begining of the circle. they all point to the staring point where the pen hit the paper. its wrong . the start cannot be measured as the start started in my mind. endings and starts cannot be found in reality

It is easy to measure radius than it is to measure circumference practically. So we measure radius physically and then theoretically calculate diameter by multiplying radius with 2. Then by multiplying it with value of π we can get the length of circumference of the circle without practically measuring it with a ruler.

The number π (/paɪ/) is a mathematical constant. Originally defined as the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, it now has various equivalent definitions and appears in many formulas in all areas of mathematics and physics. It is approximately equal to 3.14159. It has been represented by the Greek letter "π" since the mid-18th century, though it is also sometimes spelled out as "pi". It is also called Archimedes' constant. Being an irrational number, π cannot be expressed as a common fraction (equivalently, its decimal representation never ends and never settles into a permanently repeating pattern). Still, fractions such as 22/7 and other rational numbers are commonly used to approximate π. The digits appear to be randomly distributed. In particular, the digit sequence of π is conjectured to satisfy a specific kind of statistical randomness, but to date, no proof of this has been discovered. Also, π is a transcendental number; that is, it is not the root of any polynomial having rational coefficients. This transcendence of π implies that it is impossible to solve the ancient challenge of squaring the circlewith a compass and straightedge. Ancient civilizations required fairly accurate computed values to approximate π for practical reasons, including the Egyptians and Babylonians. Around 250 BC the Greek mathematicianArchimedes created an algorithm for calculating it. In the 5th century AD Chinese mathematicsapproximated π to seven digits, while Indian mathematics made a five-digit approximation, both using geometrical techniques. The historically first exact formula for π, based on infinite series, was not available until a millennium later, when in the 14th century the Madhava-Leibniz series was discovered in Indian mathematics.[1][2] In the 20th and 21st centuries, mathematicians and computer scientists discovered new approaches that, when combined with increasing computational power, extended the decimal representation of π to many trillions of digits after the decimal point.[3][4]Practically all scientific applications require no more than a few hundred digits of π, and many substantially fewer, so the primary motivation for these computations is the quest to find more efficient algorithms for calculating lengthy numeric series, as well as the desire to break records.[5][6]The extensive calculations involved have also been used to test supercomputers and high-precision multiplication algorithms. Because its most elementary definition relates to the circle, π is found in many formulae in trigonometry and geometry, especially those concerning circles, ellipses, and spheres. In more modern mathematical analysis, the number is instead defined using the spectral properties of the real number system, as an eigenvalue or a period, without any reference to geometry. It appears therefore in areas of mathematics and the sciences having little to do with the geometry of circles, such as number theory and statistics, as well as in almost all areas of physics. The ubiquity of π makes it one of the most widely known mathematical constants both inside and outside the scientific community. Several books devoted to π have been published, and record-setting calculations of the digits of π often result in news headlines. Attempts to memorize the value of πwith increasing precision have led to records of over 70,000 digits.

No one told me what exactly π in my schooling and college, it became a part of so many formulas. And Today morning when I was studying mathematics (concept somewhat related to circles) suddenly I wondered what the role of π doing in the formula of perimeter 🤔 Since I was very interested in practicals, I drawed a circle on a paper and placed a thread on the boundary (circumference) of that circle and measured the length of that thread.and I compared with that circle's diameter and length of the thread, and found a small difference in length. And did the same practical for different radius of circles...and found same difference is there between the diameter and length of the thread. The constant difference came is approximately ~ 3.4 then I came that is the value of π in that circumference(which i wondered at first) formula........and ..I...so... excited that I analyzed myself . Today(same day) when I was browsing for "what is logarithms" in KZbin. I found your video and watching .below to that video i saw another video "what is π" which is from your channel. So I watched it ,so you said exactly what I analyzed practical today. Believe or not ....IT IS TRUE
