matic just dropped to $.92 today, Jan 19 after having a solid rally in the beginning of the year. From $.77 to $1.05. Pullback is expected since the entire market just had a solid run. Good question…I still think the gas fees to swap from eth to matic would still be fairly high…plus whatever exchange your moving to and reswapping on, gas fees would still be high… Developers just need to either create new blockchains completely, or start on the layer 2 from the beginning… Don’t take this info as gospel though…

So basically Etherium cost per transaction isn’t worth it. But polygon is. And etherium can use polygon to reduce cost per transaction which will in turn make polygon and etheirum both worth more. So if ethereum overtakes Bitcoin , polygon an etherium both go up togeather.

Can recommend Polygon and Binance for beginners. How about Cardano or Polkadot? Besides the lightning speed. What can Polygon do, that Polkadot and Cardano cannot do? Polygon architecture is Proof of stake EVM on Ethereum. So, what is being said in a roundabout way. Polygon is a type of ETH, mother-child optional ecosystem side-chain. With a ECR20 token bridging thing going on.
