Bill ka top par issue date lekhi hoti ha kisi ilaka ma 24 hoti ha to kisi ma 30 wahe sa month cycle start hota ha

Assalam O Alakum, Sorry, I to point out it is not 30 days. Actually it is 1 month because Energy meter reading was recorded on 30th May 2024, May is of 31 days. Next reading was recorded on 29 June at 7 PM. I mean exact after 30 days. The reading diffrence was198 units, even then 6 units were increase and charged 204 units. May I know why if 30 days is the criteria.

Wa Alaikum Asalaam.. The reading should be done for 30 days only else the tariff rates will affect the consumers.. Yes you are correct in your case you need to complain on Citizen Portal. Pro Rata shouldn't apply. The system divide 198 on 30 days and added avereage 6 unit on 198 which became 204- you need to complain on the citizen portal, and they will have to revert your below 200 slab tariff if you regularly below 200.
