RBI dosent know its a prop firm or forex broker, they listed thinking as it was a forex broker, basically they are not against prop firm but forex broker , and the rule is you should not send money for trading and in prop firm we are sending money to take a test exam not for funding our account , in this case FTMO is tradable and the tax you pay is service giving to them , bcoz that is not your account you are trading their account and getting share so, pay tax thru service giving

FTMO doesn't violate FEMA in any way, you are not sending any money outside India. I don't know why they banned this. As it is on Ban list better to stay away.

There's no way unless and until some of your friends or relatives are working in a desk already. It's a very niche market and only a few people know about it..I'm a prop trader for share India and it was hard getting in had my friend working there who joined with his family connections.. it's not for everyone. Also since your own money is involved it's similar to trade in your own account i swear i wouldn't have gone the prop route if the margin rule wasn't implemented. Now it's impossible for a normal person to even think to be a full time trader

Can a prop desk trade in international markets? What if i open a business account with my indian registered international broker(interactive Brokers) and can i trade international markets on other exchanges. I am a indian tax resident.

This is a good question and I was also thinking about it. If the answer is yes, it clarify that Indians can trade on international markets without violating the fema law, since we are not sending money abroad for currency trading into a brokers account. But unfortunately no answer from the channel and viewers 😊
