When I first visited the Isha yoga center in coimbatore as a volunteer ,they insisted to attend Guru Pooja everyday , I was like what is the need for this , I am here to learn yoga not to pray in front of sadhguru's picture , but when for the very first time I attended guru Pooja sitting in vajrasana , I was in some kind of transcend state , guru Pooja was the only time when the constant chattering in my mind would stop, all those chants have some amazing effects , I don't know the science behind it, but it is something that every individual should experience.

For me guru Pooja is too intense. Tears just blast out of my eyes. Whole body is in a different state. It's not emotional. Even on inner engineering last day tears were just flowing and I was wondering why it was happening , I thought it was because I was emotional about Sadhguru but later I got to know that guru Pooja opens up certain dimensions within us and when there is some intense experience tears flow .🙏🙏🕉️🕉️

You are doing a very noble work, my son. I have nothing more to say, rather than giving on your shoulder's the task to bring in light and mainstream the vast Sanskrit text available. I know it is vast and difficult to cover everything, but you should primarily focus on spirituality, leave the literature portion except the works of great spiritual masters and the "Smriti", leave all that Kalidasa's and others poetic works. Focus primarily on these spiritual ones. Only this much portion can cause you an entire lifetime to deliver everything, but I believe you are committed and we are with you. Keep it high!

Namaskaram Anna. This is a beautiful video. May act like a fine tuner of practice for those who've been initiated in Guru Puja. But as this being a very powerful and alive process Guru Puja is offered with a certain sanctity in Isha, i think having Guru Pooja in open platforms like this may distort the process as people might start practicing it in whatever ways they understand.
