But how the screen capture is working? It is simply transfer as stream of video? I am asking since I am using 2 methods for accessing Remote Desktop for my remote pc. One is Rdp and 2nd is sunshine/moonlight. And on sunshine moonlight combo I am seeing some compression artifact as well as dropping fps below 60 where Rdp looks like it’s using some kind of other method because I am now encountering such issues.

Video is sent over Dynamic Virtual Channels which are built on top of MCS. I believe it’s just H.264 being streamed via TCP or UDP.

If you want to maintain quality and FPS it’s going to be all about throughput. The faster your network connection the less artifacts you should get but it may never be perfect!
