Reactjs can't work with other frameworks. Bootstrap 4 can't work properly. Try to use a collapsed menu or carousel and it just doesn't work. Only use it if you are planning to make everything on it.

Right, why bother using CSS when you can reinvent the wheel and make your peers clueless? Sounds like CGI which was abandoned by other things. Html has built in features designed to work with mouse positions and CSS. Anyone that says it is simpler makes me wonder how well they understand html and css. Look at all that junk in the page, not needed. Forcing browsers to use libraries defeats the purpose of a browser being a parser. These developers just push these libraries to puff up resumes and manipulate job markets in my opinion. Frustrating for people with clients asking for stuff they do not need? Forcing people to request similar libraries hosted on domains has it's own issues further complicating things. They can track traffic, links etc. Great for business for those who end up cleaning up these web site train wrecks you know are bound to happen. I digress. Lol. To each his own enjoyment. I do not need another tool for graphical interfaces, too much junk in latest CSS to be honest. They are getting close to breaking it. Been using it 15 years never found a problem worth solving that could not be solved with CSS alone. Lots of lazy web masters make it sound harder than it is.

1. Just a view engine, lacks classical model and controller approach. 2. Needs external weird libraries, like redux with weird terminology to make is somewhat look like a full solution. 3. Your just write javascipt instead of html. What is wrong with html? 4. ES6. Majority of js code in the wild is es5 so react confuses the hell out of beginners in 2017. 5. Verbose. 6. Nothing new.

I'd suggest keeping an open mind. Many of the things on your list could be viewed as positives. React takes care of just the V in MVC and isn't trying to do any more. HTML is great, but you can do so much more with JS and React makes that bridge between HTML and JS that much easier. ES2016 -> IS JavaScript. I would be a big mistake to not use ES6 as the main version of JS at this point. There is a lot new here, but you have to keep an open mind and give it a chance :)
