GSXR is always a world beater. Proven even in 2022 taking many wins in Super Stock1000 and even the Superbike racing. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Beating bikes that cost double. 2006 still holds the world's fastest OEM 0-60 of any road going motorcycle.

They should do a race series where all you’re allowed to do is run a stock bike with the only exception being tires and different springs to accommodate different rider weights. Heck minimize engine and drivetrain changes as well because that’s a good measure of durability. Of course that would never happen but would be quite fun to watch.

Just that little part when the bike gets ridden into the garage.... Man that sound makes me think of my '99 750 with K5 headers and aftermarket can. It's funny how they have managed to keep that acoustic from the engine over all these years.

Love my 22 GSXR 1000 race bike and even more so with the Yosh ECU. Yeah there is no wheelie control in the Yosh base map and I hate the launch control on it. Don't forget to input your gearing and always change the tire diameters if you change tire brands cause it can really mess with the traction control. My FKR carts in the left leg unwinds the preload as you ride slowly, it's very annoying but it's usually never more than 3/4 of a turn per day so just keep an eye on that
@KnoxArmour2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Jacob. Ill keep that in mind. There does need to be better instructions on the Yoshi ECU as its hard to find good information about it. Thanks, Aaron KNOX
@JNOSNOW2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I hear the Woolwich flashes for the Yosh hardware is more using friendly for tuning BUT a lot of the MotoAmerica teams EM Pro tunes are surprisingly close to the base map that comes in it as far as traction control and other functions besides air/fuel stuff. Btw I loved the MK3 handroids so much I bought 3 pairs but the new ones missed the mark in fitment and feel. I'd buy more in the future if they were closer the old ones so hopefully I don't use these sets up before that happens. Have fun in that thing and whatever you do, do NOT trust that wheelie control with the Yosh cause it will let you 1 O'clock it if you're not careful
@afrando94716 ай бұрын
I have a question about traction/slide control, if you have your slide control set on the yosh em pro does that then get increased with every level of TC you select on the dash? It's not the easiest of software to work out and there ain't no videos out there other then yours which may I add has been very helpful cheers
@JNOSNOW6 ай бұрын
As far as traction control modes they don't match up to the numbers exactly on the dash. I think the dash has like 5 or 6 numbered setting for oem and the EMPro uses 6 but they are not linear settings they are just in order and you can set up each one but they come dialed in already.

@@KnoxArmour At first it was unrideable due to a bad map and suspension not set up. I just need time in the seat and ready to enjoy some trackdays next year now!

@flamintasty Жыл бұрын
No, it’s a Superstock bike that races in the BSB support races.
@cirian75 Жыл бұрын
@@flamintasty That is not what I meant or said. For years people have assumed superstock bikes are road bikes that have been converted into race bikes with stage 1 exhaust on the engine and some suspension tuning. When in fact it turns out they are full fat from the ground up race bikes near identical to the superbikes, except for the fact that they are limited to a stage one engine remap and exhaust, and have to road run road legal tyres. This of course means they run in super stock, not superbike.

@jeroenboree45102 жыл бұрын
So it is a frame never used on the road, directly build-up for racing. It is still from the same assembly line as all Gixxer 1000's who are used on the road. Nothing special about that in my opinion. If it was a special one or custum made it would not be able to use as a "stock" racer, not even an Superbike. It might be strengthened that would be interesting to see! Never the less good luck with your racing plans.
@KnoxArmour2 жыл бұрын
Yeah think i made that quite clear. The main point was that this never started as a showroom bike, it was built from the frame up to be a race bike within the regulations but with no road going compromises. Aaron KNOX
