The principles of regenerative agriculture and the results of the experiments conducted by Czech Globe were presented at the first conference on regenerative agriculture in the Czech Republic called "Živá krajina" ("Living Landscape") by Mr. Karel Klem, senior researcher at the Institute of Global Change Research of the Czech Academy of Sciences (Czech Globe).
A number of scientific papers on practical experience confirm that farmers are at risk of significant losses in crop yields as well as reduced quality of the produce on offer due to erosion, chemical soil contamination, desertification, and increasing weather extremes.
Regenerative agriculture provides a comprehensive solution in the form of healthier soils that are capable of producing high-quality, nutrient-rich food. At the same time, it improves the soil and the landscape in terms of both productive and non-productive functions through integrated technologies and special practices. These regenerate the soil, ultimately leading to sustainable and economically healthy farms.
