I had an experience that completely cured my anxiety. During a two-hour session of various meditative techniques, the profound truths of dependent origination and non-self hit me deeply. I began with samatha to calm the body and stabilize the mind, creating a foundation of peace. Then I transitioned into vipassana, observing the nature of thoughts, sensations, and feelings as impermanent and arising due to causes and conditions. Afterward, I practiced sound meditation, immersing my awareness in the arising and fading of sounds, which further revealed the transient nature of experience. Finally, I combined huatou (a Chan practice focusing on a "head word") with silent observation, using the phrases "Who am I?" and "What is this?" to direct my mind inward until it became completely silent. In that silence, I realized that I am not the thoughts, the body, or the sensations-I am the witness, the awareness behind it all. This insight dissolved my anxiety, as I saw clearly that the self I had been protecting and worrying over didn’t inherently exist. What remains is just the flow of interdependent experiences, free from the grasp of self-identification.

I’ve spent so much time defining myself by my negative thoughts. Every time I get stuck in them, it feels like I’m starting over as a new and worse version of myself. It makes a lot of sense about the idea that these are like mental reincarnations and it’s helping me realize I don’t have to believe every thought I have. Maybe I can just notice them without letting them control me.

The 3D Ego mind *thrives* on negativity and drama; it needs that for its very existence. You can learn to *control* that aspect of your Ego mind. As soon as a negative thought pops up, you can feel it momentarily, but then refute it. Better yet, as Tolle would say, Be the Observer, as if you are an unbiased person looking at it from a distance. What I like to do is *challenge* my negative Ego whenever that happens. I silently tell my negative Ego that it's not going to get the better of me - I'm not falling for it. You're not going to drag me down in my life! 🙂

I have had a serious painful pattern for 15 years. I'm 26. I always attract "punishments/negative outcomes/misery" without doing anything "wrong" on my part. I'm such a victim of this pattern. I just can't figure out how to release that. This is so unbearable now when I have literally no fault on my part. People always have wrong/opposite idea of actually what I'm. I don't even know if the Universe is telling me something or life wants to teach me something..!! I get the paradox of needing time to realize your timeless essence, however it would be hypocritical to deny this is a fact, or else everyone listening would just become enlightened upon hearing this. In Hinduism it is said that enlightenment can be achieved in the time it takes for a grain of rice to fall from your hand to the ground however, because there are so many mental resistances, attachments and desires, it takes time (many incarnations) to destroy these false beliefs. So while theoretically time needing to pass is an illusion, many hours of guru-guided meditation, prayer, etc are needed to remove the mud preventing the perfect, divine essence from shining forth

Let me break this down as I see it, logically. There is another so called teacher talking about the same thing. I wont mention his name because they are not worthy. Seems like all so called teachers are just parroting each other. Even the other so called teacher is using analogies. If there was no physical brain, then there would be no thoughts nor mind because thoughts and mind require a faculty, which is the physical brain. So, when you think, you then create a thought to recall for when that situation arises again so that you can give it some thought for a resolution. So now you have a physical brain which also requires a facility from where the brain would receive its knowledge from. Now why would that be so you would ask. That is because your physical brain did not and cannot form itself nor form the physical body. So what formed the physical brain and body. When you understand that, then you will be enlightened by the fact of your Formed source presence within and it's imprinted knowledge. You your lineage inception has already manifested from the elements of the Universe and transcended. That means you were initially FORMED ( elements, iD Being) not BORN ( biology Being) however both are in a symbiotic relationship. If you would like to know how your Formed source inception initially derived, then ask your favourite so called teacher who doesn't have a clue of that aspect. Reincarnation is not a soul reborn in another body, it's simply the spark that was caused when your Formed source inception elements fused for your iteration function. Your life is not full of problems, after all, how do you think your lineage has come thus far. No Problem.

We all know we must have come from the Universe for a start all be it maybe as a source that already Formed and landed on Earth or the source Formed on Earth. In the intelligent species aspect, our source is elements that Formed and those elements are a correct value that would only Form for an intelligent species. Those elements are inanimate matter, BUT, they are only inanimate until they touch another type of inanimate matter and that connection would create a reaction, a reaction that would cause fusion and fusion creates a spark and spark is an iteration function. That means you were initially Formed ( elements) not Born ( biology) however both are in symbiotic relationship. But your elements Formed first, that is your inception. Your inception was not Born which is the biology. Why not you may ask. Because elements can fuse, biology cannot.

I know nothing about the Plato proposal you mentioned, so I had to google it. re Plato; suggests that the physical world is not as real or true as "Forms", commonly translated as " ideas"- are the non physical, timeless, absolute, unchangeable essences of all things, which objects and matter in the physical world merely imitate. I am sure you know all that, but, this is at odds with me because Plato's Forms are non physical, from what I can gather. Then when I read, " Plato speaks of these entities only through the characters in his dialogues who sometimes suggest that these Forms are the one object of study that can provide knowledge" My dilemma is, an Entity is " a thing with distinct and independent existence" and that is impossible with Plato's "Form" because it is not an object. And an Entity is a " thing" and a thing is an object. I am thinking Plato got it backwards or wrong, ie Plato's Forms, though he says they are non physical and essence of all things, it looks like he thinks the non physical Form is the Factor of/for existence. Going by that, if that were true, then how did matter appear to create a physical world/univers and then to imitate something non physical that reality of the physical wouldn't have clue about a non physical Form thats supposed to be there. Basically, realty couldn't care less of a non physical form nor to imitate it. There is no Universal consciousness because the Universe is random and random events and random means " done without conscious decision ". So that means consciousness is not required nor implemented because the Universe does not need to survive therefore it does not need to be aware nor give awareness any thought. Basically, consciousness is just a recall tool from a previous awareness that was stored so you can give some thought later. Your Formed source implemented awareness for its surrounds and survival and evolve its host the physical body and brain. Consciousness and thought comes with the package. Thought cannot exist on it's own because it requires a faculty, otherwise that would be like Plato saying the non physical Form of thought entity came first before the physical body.
