Scrum is a framework within which people can address complex adaptive problems, while productively and creatively delivering products of the highest possible value.
Scrum itself is a simple framework for effective team collaboration on complex products. Scrum co-creators Ken Schwaber and Jeff Sutherland have written The Scrum Guide to explain Scrum clearly and succinctly. This Guide contains the definition of Scrum. This definition consists of Scrum’s roles, events, artifacts, and the rules that bind them together.

Great video - Thank you. If you are really sharp you can be successful with Waterfall, as a developer for over 40 years I have seen/done it all. I agree that Scrum/Agile is the way to go today, it has features that correct the inherent weaknesses of Waterfall, it should it, it was devised AFTER Waterfall. Know this: There is no perfect system. I have seen more issues due to communication causing deficiencies in Scrum/Agile (which could occur to any design system). An example: A global team is verbally communicating and one says: "orange" but another in the group heard or thought they said or meant "Apple" . Evolution/Progress is infinite.

According to Mike Cohn, “Perhaps the most prevalent and persistent myth in agile is that a cross-functional team is one on which each person possesses every skill necessary to complete the work. This is simply not true … A cross-functional team has members with a variety of skills, but that does not mean each member has all of the skills” In reality, Agile cross functional teams not only means that the team itself is cross functional, but also that each team members can preferably play multiple roles as well. You said wrong about cross functional teams in the video. Rest it was the great explanation.
