You know what's funny? Synergy has completely stopped supporting coil overs . They stopped producing their coil over conversion kits because they said the sale volume was so low it didn't make sense to bother making them anymore. I totally get that, but on top of that they now bad mouth coil over conversions, which is just sad. Just because they got their feelings hurt because they weren't selling any coil over conversions doesnt make coil overs bad. All the extremely well built desert rigs run coil overs or coil overs and external bypasses. I've seen Zero pro desert racers running separate springs and shocks.

What would you say is the best rated coilover for a 2016 Jeep wrangler jku that I plan to do a hemi swap in the future. I Currently have a 3.5 inch metal cloak game changer lift on 37s

I know this is an old vid. Hoping you’ll see this. Are the 2.0s enough for a built Jk(long arms, tons, 40s)? Or would 2.5s be better?
@Exodus4x48 ай бұрын
Nah, try and do 2.5’s if you can. Lots of weight on these big builds

I have some Rubicon Express duals with fox reservoirs. I don't think they are adjustable though. I've honestly hated the ride over the past year or so. I've had them for a few years though. But I haven't been off road since 2018. Now that I just do city/highway driving, the ride is ridiculously rough. Like, I feel like my Jeep is all over the road, and rumbling like I'm driving off-road 24/7. I HATE the ride quality. But now I don't wanna go back to stock because of the cost. Is there any saving the setup? I just wanna enjoy my ride again. I don't like feeling as though my Jeep is going to fall apart just driving it to work!

Need some advice on size of spring and shock for my 1978 Wagoneer build. I have a frame off build and I put a three link up front and a four link on the rear from Ballistic Fabrications. Running a 5.3ls motor 4l80e and NP205 for running gear. Vehicle curb weight is 4800lbs at this point. Any help would be appreciated. I can send you pictures.

Hello from Seattle! 2014 JK Willy's 2 door. 2" Body lift, Smittybilt Wench, Bumper, and armor fenders. 37"s on 17s with 2" offset. I'm currently working on steering and long arms. I havent decided on 4 link or 3 link yet. .. Also, my daughter is watching my build closely too, since she has a 2014 JK 2 door Sport. I have a feeling she plans to mimic my build but is taking the easy way by letting me take the lead(mistakes). I've picked up 16" Coilover shocks but have been burned and dont have any support by the company I've purchased from. In light to getting off to a bad experience, I just wanna continue on and attempt to successfully achieve my build. My Wheeler will be a daily work horse and a weekend wheeler. 2.0 w/ resi 16" coilover, I want to squat 8". I'm attempting a total of 14" down travel, limit straps in place and possibly shoot for a total of14" uptravel with bump stops in place. What would you suggest for spring load? 250/250, 200/200, 175/175 or 175/200?

I would suggest calling Accutune and speaking with Kenny.

Just picked up an 07 4 door wrangler, it had the death wobble, apparently the shocks were shot, the geometry was all off and the stabilizer was completely ineffective. 2k later it drives like a dream. I am very glad I came across y’all though, if the death wobble comes back I’m taking it to y’all. Next April as a birthday gift to myself I’m definitely coming to y’all to get re-geared. My Jeep is a manual transmission and I can tell a huge difference from when I went from 285’s to 315’s. I watched yalls video about doing both the front and the back for a total of $1500, that’s worth my wife and I driving down for a weekend away from the kids and dropping the Jeep off to y’all for the weekend. We live in Tx, and I’ve got family in New Braunfels that I should probably go see anyways. I’m very happy I came across y’all. Hope to see y’all in April.

I want to build a diesel JT as soon as I can order one. Since it adds about 450lbs to the weight can a coil over adjust for that or should i just wait until a diesel specific coil over? Also, if we’re to spend the coin for the “ulitimate D60s” from spicer, what do I sacrifice? I know they weigh a lot more so does they mean the truck will ride worse?
@Exodus4x44 жыл бұрын
Smarter Than You yes it sure can. Our coilover lift on our JT was originally designed for the JL, but I changed the spring rates to accommodate the truck with 6.5” of lift and still have the correct amount of shaft exposure at ride height.
@iamblaineful4 жыл бұрын
Also, axles are “unsprung” weight, so D60s will not ride much different than stock Dana 44s

I have a stock suspension on my 2020 JLUR. I really like the general height of the Jeep and will stick with running 33” tires. I’m building the Jeep out as an Overloader vehicle so know that as the weight is added, I will need to ‘increase’ the lift to keep the stock height. I also want a better suspension which will allow me to adjust it for driving conditions: highway, around town, off-road. Some of the overlanding I want to do will require traveling vast distances on gravel and dirt roads, so I am looking for a racing style suspension in those cases: running at speed without jarring my wife and me all over the place. Is there such a suspension that I could install and keep the 33” tires?
@emu4wd4 жыл бұрын
Do you need to reinforce the mounting points anywhere. In a JL..

The kit comes with new mounting brackets that bolt in.👍
