"So many dev have a natural feel in the same way that are really talented auto mechanic kind of knows their way around specific engines almost instinctively. Developers really get to know their way around code almost instinctual ..." developers do not become this instantly. I wish i did 😅..These are for mid to senior developers . When you're new to developing apps/software/system, you need to do research and practice to become this. We kinda have this "instinctive" skills due to our knowledge and experience. Gotta start from somewhere to become this, applies to all professions perhaps 😉

Have fun coding something like a Game/-Engine in Python. Python is great for those things mentioned by you (even though Web Development is still like entirely PHP & Javascript). But Python can simply not do any performance heavy stuff that is still only done in C++.

Depends on what "not that good" means. But since coding is the tool for development, I'd say go and improve those skills. It's like trying to become an author without being able to write.

@@Shikigami6 So? You don't like competition?
@Shikigami64 жыл бұрын
@@sheriffcrandy In games and stuff, sure. Not so much when it comes to earning money. But after the 8 month I would change my statement in the way that I mainly dislike the fact that programming is becoming more and more a "lucrative business" instead of something some nerds get really passionate about. Of course it is natural with the ever growing demand in jobs, but I just find it sad that the "spirit" of programming is getting lost more and more.
@sheriffcrandy4 жыл бұрын
@@Shikigami6 I don't think there should be any exclusivity to the profession. Programming is pretty challenging and if you have the mental fortitude to learn how to make cool programs and understand algorithms I say welcome aboard
@Shikigami64 жыл бұрын
@@sheriffcrandy Of course it is nothing that "should" be. But as someone who changed from business to programming, I can tell that in business the majority of people is not there due to "passion" or being even interested in finance and such but often just study business because of the money and because everyone told them at school, that they will get a job with it. And IMO, that makes the field "hollow" at some point.
