Why do we need the PET in between the Tedlar layers? Why can't we just use a very thick Tedlar layer?

Thanks for comment🙏 1) PET based backsheets are one of the most used backsheets materials in order to reduce the cost of Tedlar-based material. PET based backsheets have a range of properties that makes suitable to use as backsheet materials, mainly transparency, good thermal resistance, mechanical and chemical resistance. 2)If have high thick layers in between tedlar layers, Getting draw backs 1) Cost increase 2) Uniform Lamination not happened it means surface finishing 3) Adhesive problems will raise 4) If have high thickness means in lamination need increase high pressure, this gives bad results to laminate.
