IOC and Dependency Injection ? >IoC is a broader concept that refers to a design principle where the control of the flow of a program is inverted. i.e In traditional programming, the flow of control is determined by the program itself, but in IoC, the control flow is inverted, meaning the framework takes control and manages the execution of the application. >In Spring,IOC is commonly acheived through Dependency Injection. >Dependency Injection is a specific implementation of IoC where the objects are not responsible for obtaining their dependencies; instead, the dependencies are injected into the objects.With DI, the objects are loosely coupled, making the system more modular and easier to maintain. >Example demonstrating IOC using DI in SPring: Suppose if there is a class A that has one instance variable of class B,then in traditional approach, for every object of class A we will create object of class B using the new keyword within the constructor or method of class A. i.e In this traditional approach, every instance of class A is responsible for creating its own instance of class B, This approach tightly couples the class with its dependencies, making it harder to change or test the code. In contrast, Inversion of control (IOC) is a design principle where instead of us creating object of class B for every class A object(using the new keyword within the constructor or method of class A.),we assign this task to Spring,it itself will ceate an object of class B during runtime and assign it's reference within each object of class A. so basically we inverted the control of object creation (of class B for every class A object) from overselves to Spring i.e Spring manages the creation of the object of class B and injects.(via dependency injection) it into class A.
