Some Indians are not even recognized themselves members of a tribe. You gotta have a certain percentage of blood that's recognized by the government to in order to receive those tribal benefits. So a lot of mixed blood Indians dont meet that requirement. I hear yall saying we are the true Indians. We originate from Africa the birth place of the first man. Really dont matter what the mixture at the end of the day your classified at BLACK. So just love that fact. A lot of people think or just say they have indian blood but majority of the time you really don't. Were the only people who come in all shades and different textures of hair even in Africa. Love thy self and dont hate yourself for anything about who you are. Speaking in general but I know Louisiana has a high % of people that are in that background like most coastal regions from Mississippi to Texas but not everybody.
