I am german and bursted out laughing at the end. The pronunciation was so sweet but I barely understood anything without the subtitles. 😂 But don't get me wrong. I am really greatful und appreciate that they are doing this and trying so hard! The next arc will be brilliant! ❤ ...and hilarious xD

Omg the next arc is SO good, it's definitely a fan favorite in the fandom. It's a more "angsty" and violent arc! It's so interesting

​​​​​@@SomnusReactsI mean you got the prequel movie from NGNL and the novels are continuously coming out. The issue there is probably that they need the author to be involved, but with his bad health and issues with scheduling the next book, he has barely any time for it. But if the story is supposed to end around volume 16 - then we are getting close to the end, which could mean new adaptation. And for Black Butler - we actually have been constantly getting new stuff out - either OVAs, this new season, theatre plays and art galleries. For BB the issue is it's slow monthly release. Around season 1 - Book of Atlantic was just coming out in the manga (which is why we get characters that look similar to Book of Circus characters, worse versions of the Ciel's servants backstories or even the Bizarre Dolls). When Book of Circus came out we were going through School Arc and Emerald Witch arc. And when Book of Atlantic came out we just finished first arc from Blue Saga. They need to take their time, because catching up to the manga would be awful to have.

What a lovely reaction! I look forward to your videos for the next arc scheduled somewhere in 2025. Emerald Witch Arc is my second favorite chapter right behind Campania, so I was super happy that it was going to be adapted so soon and by Cloverworks, who did such amazing with this season. Apparently they said at anime expo that it was due to the popularity with both native and international fans! I was skeptical of Cloverworks’ character designs when the first trailer dropped last year, but the more I watched the season, the more I was absorbed into the world of Black Butler. The aesthetics were still there and everyone looked so gorgeous with the upgraded animation. It really makes me feel the passage of time between then and now… Anyway I would recommend going into the next arc blind for the suspense, but I would also understand if you decide to read the manga first to tackle the spoilers. Until then! 👋🏻

1:40 Weird, maybe it wasn't the stronger types of teas you were serving there? I feel like there are few very specific types of tea brews, that are extremely easy to recognise. Like I definitely could recognise Earl Gray 100% of the times. 16:00 Yeah I would also bet next year. Emerald Witch Arc is similar in length to the Private School Arc, so they could easily pop another 10-12 episodes there.

I believe there are still Black Butler fans out there though, but since this is such a consider “old” manga, fandom are just not as active as these new shows/manga.

Sadly you are right - there aren't that many fans out there anymore and the members on MAL for this arc are horrible. But yes, Japan as a lot more fans than the rest of the world, they even do musicals for BB. I personally also don't like what cloverworks did animation-wise to the series. The series doesn't look as dark and gothic anymore, they added too many lightning and blurring effects on the animation and every day, the sun is shining bright. You see it very well in the "making of"-videos. I also think the character design doesn't look as good as before anymore. But the voice actors did a great job as always. Nontheless thank you for going on this journey again together with us!!!

@@kressy6854 I don't think they will until they reach the forest, and even then, the house where the witch lives will be all colorful, i already see that coming. I don't think they will change their fixed art- and colorstyle as a studio they chose for themselves. Sadly.

@@riddlerosehearts8277 Maybe some people don't like the stereotypes that are brought up in the story.... as a german i also didn't really like the werewolf arc, i think you can guess why 😆 But i guess BB has anyways more fans in asia, our culture in Europe has something more exiting and different for them.

Agreed on the animation part. Wish A1 was still with BB, they did great job with earlier seasons 😢. Guess they took their asignment to deliver quality animation to solo leveling very serious and couldnt take the risk to accept too many projects to work on.
