So..this is an American television classic. This was a ground breaking television show back in its day. Red Foxx was a stand up comedian who told very dirty jokes most of his career. This TV show put Red Foxx on the public map. It was a HUGE hit back then. I'm glad you are laughing at the antics.

Sanford and Son is an American sitcom television series that aired on NBC from January 14, 1972, to March 25, 1977. It was based on the British sitcom Steptoe and Son, which initially aired on BBC1 in the United Kingdom from 1962 to 1974.

Was so fun to laugh along with this lady. In real life Fred and Ester were good friends. They even dated. They were so funny as they never took any of the act serous. You can tell they enjoyed doing this. Two amazing people that have passed on.

I don't think your old enough to be able to understand the meaning of most of what Sanford & Son were all about. Placing them online and claiming to understand the bridge of time, the 1970's does not seem logical. You have to know what it was like to be black in that time. The underlying meaning of the jokes. The racial divide, the morality of men. The cruel reality of life in that moment. The reasons of humor that actually were insulting of a race being kept from seeing a future of equality. You seem to far off, a generation that could in hail the depth of oppression. In other words, your using this as click bate.

As an older black person, I say stop with your race baiting. You don't have any say on what someone else watches. I was there during it's original run, and EVERYONE, regardless of race, creed, or color enjoyed this show. How else do you think it stayed on the air. Back then it was only 3 channels, so we all watched the same shows. Stop with the segregation.
