whats ur ideal squire kit, spells, perks, skills etc for a starter wizard
@SqueakyFrank2 күн бұрын
For squire gear you are going to struggle with putting out enough damage and having enough movespeed/cast speed to react and maneuver as needed, so I suggest an Intense Focus build to help deal more burst damage to neutralize threats before they can hit you. Alternatively you could go Meditate to regen spells frequently, but your opportunities to do that aren’t always plentiful unless you really know how to read an enemy. For perks, since your spells aren’t going to hit very hard, you are probably going to want spell overload (unless you are running meditate) so you have more ammo to work with before having to reset. Arcane Mastery will greatly help with the speed of invisibility (and missiles if you choose to run them) at low gear, and then outside of those you probably will want Quick Chant and Ice Shield. For spells I would suggest Fireball, Ice Bolt, Invis, Haste, and then either Explosion or Zap in the last spot. A lot of people will say running Haste in 5-spell is a waste but I assure you it is not, especially since you have Overload. Haste will help you regain some of your lost cast speed, as well as buffing your movespeed and action speed which will be lacking at low gear. As far as Squire gear goes, if you’re running Intense Focus you will be largely banking on that skill to make up for your very low cast speed. I would suggest primarily building magic power and movespeed, because with those 2 things you can theoretically handle the most situations. Without decent HP you will greatly struggle against bows/crossbows, but in squire gear you can’t expect to have it all. My gear choices would probably be Mystic Vestments, Loose Trousers, Leather Gloves, Wizard Hat, and then Stitched Turnshoes (they have Will which give Magic Power) or Laced Turnshoes (movespeed and agility). Use a book to primarily cast with, and crystal sword for melee (unless you run Ignite, then use ball/dagger). I can probably make a video for this, but that info should hold you over for now!

what's a good build for solo 10 spell caves?
@SqueakyFrank5 сағат бұрын
Is there a gearscore or gold budget that you need to keep to? Also are you playing mostly solos or teams? For solos, if you aren’t going to be playing HR and have a few thousand gold to put into a kit, you probably are going to want to just prioritize movespeed and magic dmg/power. Those two stats, combined with good skill, can allow you to win a significant amount of engagements. For non-solos, I would say swap out movespeed for HP or Cast Speed. Movespeed isn’t quite as crucial for team-play like it is for solos, since in theory you will have a frontline between you and the enemy. If you are playing high-gear, then you can put a bunch of gold into cast speed and HP, and then some into action speed. I personally really like to build cast speed to give me fast reaction times and higher DPS, but it’s technically not a necessity if you have high movespeed since you can just kite more easily.

Btw this is for solo wizerd duo is kinda the same but trios is a lot different
@SqueakyFrankКүн бұрын
@dyio1811 yeah I’m talking about direct wizard PvP where you’re having to deal with a threat yourself. Obviously another big part of trios wizard is buffing your teammates, but you will still often find yourself in situations where you yourself are getting W-keyed and need to employ these movespeed manipulators. I utilize them every round of every match in Arena.

i dont understand why people wear the tunic
@SqueakyFrankКүн бұрын
@@skoo-j4j it can be a very good option if you get the right rolls on it. I only ever wear them if I can get 2 Knowledge, a maximum magic damage roll (2 will or 3 power) and then a 3rd on-roll like vigor, agility, or dex. When I’m building a kit, all that I care about is meeting all of my stat goals for as little gold as possible (usually ends up being about 5-6K). The meta gear pieces are usually super duper expensive, so you have to get thrifty. Would epic Mystic Vestments with 2 Knowledge, 5 max HP, and 2 Vigor be the best? Yeah but that’s also going to be over 3000 gold just for that one piece of gear. I frequently get adventure tunics with the rolls I mentioned above for less that 1000 and they meet nearly the same stat values. For chest pieces, I will usually look at epic and legendary variants of Frocks, Oracle Robes, Mystic Vestments, and Adventure Tunics to see what is available with the rolls I need, and at what prices. The rest of the kit gets built around that.
