It has better perioheral visibility but og acog has a wider diameter so it's more visible in the center which is where you're looking at most of the time, it also has a less busy reticle which is easier on the eyes when you're trying to focus and look more intensely

Shoulda changed the 1.5x scope-frame to 2.0x and the 2.5x ACOGs to 3.0x. DMRs would keep their exclusive 3.0x too. Some attacker weapons would have 2.0x, some 3.0x, but none would have both, forcing players to learn both magnifications. Some attacker weapons would have access to neither - just 1.0x. With this change, players only have to learn 3 main magnification sensitivities (1.0x 2.0x 3.0x) as opposed to the current 5 (1.0x 1.5x 2.0x 2.5x 3.0x). Old ACOG used to be 3.0x anyway before they reduced it.
