Cryofreeze and deadwire are both good for getting points because you get 5 points every time you stun or freeze. They don’t steal your kills like the rest. Lightning strike will give you 600 points in a train of 30 zombies. For high rounds though, pretty useless

This cryofreeze claim is *misinformation!* Killing a zombie affected by the base Cryofreeze *will limit you to 90 points for the kill* plus the 5 points you mentioned for the activation. _Supposedly_ this won’t count against headshots for camo grinding, but you’re still kneecapping your points gain in an already tight economy, so IMO Cryofreeze belongs down low until Treyarch patches it. (I assume it’s a bug, because the Ice Cloud does NOT negatively affect your points gain…)

Rip Napalm burst. Got nerfed in the most recent patch. It doesn't spread hardly at all, even with the augments, so at absolute most, you'll hit 5 zombies with it in one proc. Good while it lasted 💔

It doesn't take away critical kills just the POINTS you get from it. So 95 points instead of 115 on the original cryofrozen zombie (not on extra frozen ones from augments). Critical kills still count for the scoreboard and camos regardless of if you get "+115 Critical Kill" on your screen.

It does count for critical. It just doesn’t show up on points which is silly. But if you watch your scoreboard, you’ll see critical kills increase with cryo freeze headshots even without the points.

With testing i did myself it seems that the lightning strike damage scales off the amount of damage the instance that triggered it did, i have not tested it a lot with snipers but if you use a legendary pack 3 MELEE weapon to trigger it oneshots an entire horde which is really cool. Try it out because it makes it a gamechanger for a melee build. (In case this is not intended dont let Treyarch know)

Cryo freeze is my favorite, though I know it's not as effective as the others at times. It's like my love of frost blast. You could say I have an affinity for ice in the game. Your review of cryo freeze helped me a lot! Before I was running big game, but now I run the ice cloud! The cloud slows everything including elites. So, now I have more crowd control and I can still affect the big guys.

Another excellent video my friend. I have enjoyed watching all your BO6 videos. I think you’re spot on with this ranking. Shadow Rift and Napalm Burst are definitely the top 2, no debate. I personally believe Cryo Freeze is probably A tier on Liberty Falls and maybe even sometimes S Tier. The fact that you can completely freeze any zombie every 2 seconds including Manglers is super nice. Every time a Mangler winds up to shoot I can freeze it at will.

they intentionally made deadwire average due to two mains reasons In my opinion. One is that it was, at a time absolutely busted out of its mind on coldwar, destroying entire rounds with a single shot, which then got nerfed and exploding shot took its place. the second reason being it most likely in this game is weaker because they may be adding the Wunderwaffe DG-2 into the game as we saw in Liberty Falls trailer and don’t want to take away from the magic of the wonder weapon.

I’m going to have to slightly disagree about Dead Wire. Yes, it was pretty weak up until you unlocked Lightning Strike and Extension. At higher rounds, it can really get you out of jams and gives you time to retreat. Personally, watching a lightning bolt strike down on a Mangler is by miles the most satisfying. I hope dead wire gets a buff.

Tested that deadwire is really good on melee weapons when having the augments lightning strike and extension with the melee macchiato perk, not sure its intended to work this way or not because of how underwhelming it is on any other weapon

It seems to scale off weapon damage or something, because without melee macchiato my lightning strike did really low damage. I only had the healing and backpedaling move speed augments on there.

Cryofreeze mixed with the Chill Berry and wonder pop mods is one of my favorite late rounds for dealing with waves. Put it on a high ROF weapon and the augment to freeze them solid and it becomes downright hilarious because it activates almost every single shot. That being said, not amazing in every scenario and if you’re using a semi auto it’s almost useless, i always keep a spare Mustang and Sally

Tbh tho since I am camo grinding rn shadow rift is the only one I use exclusively even tho I can pretty much delete maulers without them I put it on my ASG and just shoot em a few times they get instantly killed and I swap back to the weapon just I am camo grinding it feels nice although without grinding void rift is my go too and napalm is a close second I never struggle with normal zombies the elites or annoying so it’s nice to just instantly kill them and it doesn’t typically disturbed my train

Currently, Napalm burst had a HUGE nerf so now it's average at best, and cryo freeze kills don't count towards camo grinds so eek. Personally (at the time of writing this) I'd say Shadow Rift is best of course, followed by Brain Rot (hot take) primarily for pheremone buying you a few seconds of distraction during EE steps or when you're overrun, just isn't good on elites. Dead Wire is a decent medium with the right augs and is also one of the more fun ammo mods imo.

I think the main difference you're not considering is the point farming you can do early to maybe mid game with some of these. Deadwire and Cryo-Freeze can grant you about 3k extra points easily if used correctly by r20. Brain Rot is mainly used as a monkey bomb when used properly. Napalm is essentially the sliquifier from BO2 if done properly. Shadow Rift is basically only for 1-hitting Elites. These are my opinions as to the proper uses to these - not just killing zombies.

@@acomega. its crazy how far deadwire has fallen. it went from one of the best aat's of all time to the worst. in bo3 it was utterly broken in bo4 nerfed it and made it actually balanced in coldwar it was good for a while, until it was randomly nerfed into the ground and became useless in vanguard it was demoted from an aat to a terrible covenant and finally in bo6, its useless still it desperately needs a buff, especially since its mandatory if you wanna build the beam smasher on terminus. its quite literally a budget shock charge. it should not be this bad😭

Bit harsh on dead wire lol, you miss a lot of what else it also can do, for example it can spread to the parasites in the air and it will kill them. You hit high rounds and they become very annoying even in zombie rounds and it will deal with them very well.

The problem is you only have three weapons to put ammo mods on- your primary, secondary, and melee- if you’re not doing the Mule Kick glitch. If you’ve got a wonder weapon, that drops down to two ammo mods, and Napalm Burst is practically mandatory with the Mangler Spam. If you put Dead Wire on your last weapon you forfeit the utility of Shadow Rift’s Big Game instakill, or (if camo grinding and don’t care about killing your points gain) Cryofreeze’s camo grind assistance.

​@acomega. It's odd, it sometimes does 1 Mil damage (hello from Germany btw, I think you are from here too cuz its noticeable in your accent), while other times it does like 45k-ish? Like this will happen on the same round, in the SAME trigger. It'll suck up 3 manglers, spit them all out, 2 of them die and the third just... doesn't? Amalgams too, sometimes it's a mil, sometimes it's just less than 100k dmg. It's inconsistent. Also, I was REALLY hoping the targeted augment and the explosive drop augment would help turn shadow rift into a horde clearing beast, but the damage doesn't scale at all making it virtually useless
