eyyy i modded the sk61s and i love it. i put foam in the case , sound dampeners are in between the plate and pcb. I swapped out the stabs with durox white stabs, holee and lubed. gat black switches with lube and film :3 i also stuffed the spacebar with adhesive foam so it doesnt sound to hollow. :3 I hiiiighhly recommend this sk61s

Thanks for the kind words. Red is a bit more quiet than Brown, but if you don't like linear switches Brown is a better option.

i got the rk61 today its amazing omg with blue switches and there not too loud my only problem its not really a problem but my g key felt like a brown but it does not really bother me it amazing for ps4 and xbox and bluetooth works on both of them

Hey so I just wanted to help you because I was doing some research myself and it depends on what switch you want to get. If you want to get the optical blue, red, or browns, for sure the sk61(I know you didnt mention it in your comment but just saying), if you want to get the silver or yellows, I would suggest the gk61. Like you said, rk61 is honestly overrated and it isnt too great once you try out the gk and sk61. Also, if you are willing to spend a bit more money, the sk68(same to sk61 but more keys) would be the play. Just one note, if key rattling is something that bothers you way too much then gk61 is the play.

heya jake, I think the switches on rk61 are 'RK Branded Brown' switches atleast the unit you got , its written on the switches. Fun fact, the Rk Branded Brown switches are very close to the Gateron Browns ,so yeah.
