I only say royal gunner because I really wanted it to be more effective than it turned out to be. Ideally it would throw smoke or point a laser at targets while a battle ready gauntlet runner hanging out somewhere does all the shooting. Might be a bit against Neuras's ideals however.

I really want to know what Atlus was thinking when they put Spirit of Adversity on Pugilist Spirit of Adversity need less remaining HP for more Crit Rate, but Brawler Archetypes need more remaining HP to deal more damage.

I think in this game, like most games, knowledge is the number 1 priority. I have a banging phys damage. Unstoppable unless i get cucked by surprise reflects and blocks. Its annoying af. Once you know your enemies its simply a matter of composing your party that exploit their weakness. While some would argue to have a party that is more flexible, if you know who youre up against, you dont have to.

Either approach is fine Jojo. Knowing when to swap your party composition is the same as having a flexible team composition out the gate.

I’m curious what difficulties some of these are done on. A few people have copied these builds exactly, same archetypes, inheriting skills and equipment and we are producing much smaller numbers on Hard/Regicide. What we are getting is consistently a similar % less than shown so it’s likely a difficulty thing.

You'll have less damage on Hard/Regicide because of the damage penalty. I don't make my guides on those difficulties since most people looking for guides don't play on them Ziroikabi!

Yeah lol me and a friend were the ones who found the difficulty modifiers on release day. Was just curious as we we saw the big numbers and wondered if we’d missed something as we were not close to it. But dividing by 0.8 and multiplying by 1.5 got us in the same ranges

The build I think is the strongest for a party is one which kills the boss on turn one. Since I only need one turn, I have all the moves used on that turn: 5 turns left Heismay mania bullet 4 turns left Junah persona master Masquerade charge 3 turns left Strohl Royal Warrior peerless stonecleaver 3 turns left MC Hero's cry 6 turns left Heismay Mania bullet 5 turns left Junah masquerade charge 4 turns left Strohl Peerless Stonecleaver 4 turns left MC vidyartha 3 turns left Heismay mania bullet 2 turns left Junah masquerade charge 1 turn left Strohl Peerless Stonecleaver 1 turn left MC (Doesnt really matter) This kills pretty much any boss. Everyone has utilitarian manual except for MC, who has dodger ring, so that if the boss somehow survives, you can still steal all the turns with MC.

Do you know why Heismay in battle is acting sleepy? He keeps mentioning being tired but I have no idea why or how. I don't see any debuffs on him. I'm using Royal Thief with the dodge tank set up so idk what his problem is, e never gets hit

Why did you build this with Strohl and not Bas? I'm assuming that you didn't have Bas' HP maxxed out at the time.

Because Strohl has more Luck than Basilio. Basilio's higher Strength doesn't matter since I already hit the cap so the next best thing is getting more Luck. I also proved in the video your total HP stat doesn't matter.

All varies with your Luck. I was working with 76 Luck and I had an 83% after 100 attempts

Can somebody explain to me how the inheritance thing works for Prince. Like what can you inherit and what NOT?

Why would the Prince Inherited work different than any other Archetype? It's the same like before if you're at Level 10 then the Prince can Inherit any Skill or Passive you've learned up to that point from another Archetype. Now what you might be asking is why can't I Inherit anything from the Prince? It's because Royal Archetypes are meant to be exclusive so everything they learn can not be inherited otherwise it loses that uniqueness they're going for.

@@Naztalgic_Memories Hmm well then then I gotta replace Strohl with Basilio then. Gonna go Crit Turn Icon Build. Only Royal Berserker gets the ''No Turn icon lost on crit'' Passive unfortunately. But thats fine. Faker add Turn Icons with increased chance using the Gold Weapon. Then I apply the Tycoon gold Almighty attack to Royal Berserk and Prince with necessary Crit passives and then keep stacking up Turn Icons. So 5 Turn Icons start with Prince crown. 1 used for buffing with Royal Thief. 1 used for Faker roguery for 3-4 small turn icons. Basilio then gold attack for crit, no turn icon is lost. Prince gold attack. And repeat process until turn icons run out eventually. The main one is basilio here as he gets 1 free turn icon each round with the passive with a high chance. Wish I could apply it to the prince aswell. oh well. Im a noob in the JRPG genre, but I feel like this is gonna be powerful. Masked Dancer is obviously used to remove debuffs and dispell buffs of enemies to cover for weaknesses. And Heismay is there to dodge and deplete all enemy turn icons. So defence and utility is covered.

Now that you mentioned that Spiral Fist's gimmick is the opposite of Revenge Seeker's, I wonder if putting Revenge Seeker on Martial Artist makes Spiral Fist always deal maximum damage, since although the attack loses damage each time you lose HP, you gain the same damage back from Revenge Seeker Update: I went to check if this worked and apparently Spiral Fist just does not trigger Revenge Seeker's effect at all, I was still losing damage even with the passive on my Archetype. Laaaaaaame

I think that's cause the initial scaling of the HP from Brawler Skills cancels the Damage Bonus from Revenge Seeker. Since you're losing HP each hit the damage just flatlines.

i got completely bored with this game towards the end. tried putting it on 'easy' to blast through the story... died a lot. tried putting it on 'story mode' ... still died a lot. i couldn't bring myself to grind out levels on one of three boring ass dungeon types. just cheesed the final boss and felt empty at the end of the game.
