Thanks, never seen the DG-7 or PRI detectors before. Only ever seen a CD-V700 on eBay for sale before in Australia and it didn't come with a tube either.

Another great video. Your voice sounds just like Mike Rowe, easy to listen to. I agree about the 700 , if someone wants a classic they can’t do much better than one of these. Classic yellow, ease of batteries, tough as nails, and most will still have the built in working test source on the can. Not to mention at least dozens of how to videos out there and easily found spare parts. I found a replacement choke for the commonly found bad high Henry chokes. The Hammond 156c has worked great for me in many different detectors. I’ve used them in several Whites, PRI, Detectron, and a JEB. Probably a few more brands. Mouser carries them. Here is a video I made a while back on testing parts but haven’t listed it yet. After seeing yours I may publish it soon. I just don’t like how my voice sounds in videos, lol. Let me know what you think, comments, or corrections. I probably haven’t been doing this as long as you have and am self taught. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rXzJdWxji5iooMUsi=iNPm95d4eAgt2U9w
