The reason Golden Pyro did as bad as it did is because you got 2 instead of upgrading to level 3. A majority of Golden Pyro's DPS doesn't stack due to how fire works, so getting multiple wasn't an amazing idea. It is also MUCH better when set to farthest (along with Shotgunner).

Everything is great but the thing that annoyed me in the vid was that you didn't take into consideration the fact that some towers hit multiple enemies at a time, like g-pyro, u said it has really bad cost efficiency even though its one of the best towers in terms of money for damage. With the golden pyromancer, there's a learning curve. While direct DPS is not that good (until later levels), the fire damage is what makes it really good. Spacing them along the length of the path gives better defense melt coverage and prevents leaks.

Golden Cowboy definitely deserves 10/10 in my book for solo or duos. It is quite expensive to upgrade to level 3 for hiddens, but as long as you spam level 2 before the hidden wave came, and try to skip to level 3 to level 4 immediately because it is better on level 4 makes it able to also do a little bit of mid game by itself. And it can also be a sub-dps maxed out too. In my opinion, it deserves higher if used right.

I want to talk about the Engineer part. Engineer is made for MID - LATE games because the first 2 upgrades isn't that special and it only increases damage for the ENGINEER not the Sentry, that's why it is not meant for early games. Besides you can easily destroy wave 20 to 30 with multiple engineers that are lvl 4 or 5. But everything have a downside, Engineer is very map reliant due to the sentries having slow attack cooldown for the few levels (except lvl 3) and the engineer itself is okay. Engineer can be stunned BUT except for the turrets which as I said it is meant for MID - LATE game as the DPS carries on to the sentries at higher lvls which 1 max engineer is better than a max accelerator because of stun abuse in different game modes like Fallen. Overall Engineer is a good tower to use but not for Early games and it has good DPS that carries onto sentries that cannot be stunned unlike accelerator having a charge mechanic but keep in mind that the sentries CANNOT be buffed by all sorts of supports like: Merc base, Dj, Commander, any flags. As a G-Cowboy user, Even in fallen, i pretty much rarely leak in maps like portland, Most of the reasons why i leak is because i was doing something else or was not paying attention. Idk if this is the best way to place down and upgrade G cowboy but this is my way. Place 5 level 2 G-Cowboys in optimal spots, Upgrade 2 G-Cowboys to level 3, (I usually place a level 2 Commander at this point), Place 3 more level 2 G-Cowboys, Upgrade 2 more G cowboys to level 3 (this and the previous step can be interchangable), Place 4 more level 2 G cowboys, (This is where early game ends (i think)) Upgrade the rest of the G-cowboys to level 3, (I usually upgrade the Commander to level 3 at this point), Upgrade all the G-Cowboys to Level 4 one by one, (I get two more Level 3 Commanders and Coa chain) Upgrade 6 G-cowboys to Level 5, (place something to deal with flying), Upgrade the rest to Level 5.

brawlers hd is pretty useless as you'd usually have another tower that could cover hd for you in any mode basically, especially speedruns in speedruns you'd be willing to sacrifice a slot just to use brawler and have some sort of hidden detection, like gpyro(brawler has AMAZING CE compared to other eg towers, and has good mg/lg, so you could use him in all times of the game, and use his reposition for shadow bosses, so hidden detection past w18 in modes with old fallen structure won't matter due to you likely having lvl 4 brawler) brawler is THE best tower in the game imo

The recently buffed trapper is insane for early game while also performing well in the middle game and late game. Its also not map reliant at all despite what people might think. For example on u-turn, you can place a the trapper at the end of the first turn. It will have enough time to set up but also be quick about it. The trapper Only falling off on wave 40 as it is quite useless against fallen king. Due to how spikes work now, it ends up being a lot more efficient than what it's stats look like. Spikes have a health stat and a damage stat. A level 0 trapper's spike has 10 health and 10 damage. The damage is the damage dealt but its also the limit on how much damage the spike can receive. This is important for latter levels and allows for spikes to have a lot more reusability. More importantly though if an enemy has less health than the spike's damage, it can get more usages. A level 0 trapper's singular spike can take down 2 abnormals. First time it defeat 1 abnormal, its hp gets lowered to 2, and the second one gets defeated and the spike dies.

For me it’s golden cowboy. While golden scout allows you to farm easily, g cowboy is basically a two in one deal of g scout and the farm saving you an extra spot in the loadout. I do agree that it is bad in trio and quad but i just assume solo because a lot of these starters lose value pretty quickly outside of solo.

Not to hate, but the rating is pretty biased, like for the GPyro and the GCow. GPyro can hit multiple enemies, LV 0 HD, and overall can take early waves very well, especially to the harder modes like Hardcore. Its sole purpose is to kill crowds, not bosses, so of course you use GPyro for early defending as you farm for other towers like Minigunner. Setting this to farthest is also the best idea for GPyro too to prioritize cleaning the crowd instead of just hitting the front enemies and not getting the full burn damage. And for GCow, the Hardcore is pretty biased too, like you're not fully relying on GCow; you have other towers smh. GCow is one of the best in early, especially at solo, since it has good damage while it gives you money and can do well against hard waves like 19, 23, and 25 if your DPS is not enough. For shotgunner, just prioritize your target setting to get its full potential. The rating, to be honest, is pretty mid because you didn't really focus on a strategic way, like what I said in Shotgunner, to get its full potential

this tierlist sucks. scout is outclassed by everything in the core 4 modes. pyro has splash damage. crook boss is op for everything. cowboy lets you defend and get eco saving a slot. shotgunner has insane speedrun potential. soldier is just better scout. brawler does everything making it one of the best dps towers. ace pilot does insane carrying in hc. gladiator is bad after the nerfs and getting outclassed. jester isnt an early game tower, its a support.
