Hey everyone! I was struggling to get this one done. The tremors (from Parkinson's for those that do not know) was brutal today. I'm not sure why but it made editing difficult. I did my best to battle through and ultimately am happy with the results. Burn Notice is a fantastic show and I absolutely adore it. Hopefully you guys will respond back and I can do my planned 'what if' video. If you're interested, let me know in the comments. As usual, thanks so much for supporting! - Mr. Tot

I got excited when I saw the title of this video and immediately interrupted my girlfriend's show to talk about what her favorites were. She said anything with Tom Card and Tm Matheson. I said "The one with Sterling and Bly in the bank." Sterling is what we call the actor who is robbing the bank. He's one of our favorite "That Guys" And then I brought up the fight between Sam and Michael. The other character of Michael's that should be recognized was the crazy pyro extortionist that he played to save the bodega. Another noteworthy team related moment is when Michael is waiting for Jesse. He knows that Jesse knows who got him burned and he still just sits and waits while Jesse decides if he should kill him or not. You could do a video on the side characters too. Seymour, Barry, Sugar are all awesome characters that were well played and the show never over used them. MANY stars or would be stars show up. Patton Oswalt, Tim matheson, Tricia Helfer, Alona Tal, "Anson". This show was amazing from many angles and there is a lot of potential here.

I would of much preferred if when Michael got cleared he'd left the CIA become a troubleshooter continuing with the using his skills to help people with the occasional story where he'd help the CIA with a problem. The final couple of seasons felt disjointed the bad guys that felt confused "So there was a Cabal but it wasn't THE cabal oh and there is a completely separate cabal not related to the other cabal huh.". The series didn't need an overarching villain each season and worked great as an episodic problem of the week and I felt the show worked best when the Burn Notice had little to nothing to do with the episodes in the early seasons. Hope you feel better take care of yourself.
@NaterTot

Yep. That and it started to get a bit video game in story progression. "You need to go here, to do this, to do this bad guy, but there is also a bigger bad guy...and oh, wait a bad guy!" I think it played to the Hispanic culture and how devoted to their religion they are. While this is my favorite episode, there are SO many moments in the series I love more than this episode as a whole: After Mike captures Simon for the first time and he’s talking to his mom and starts crying because he thinks he’s going to turn into him, in the season finale when Madeline tell Jessie what she’s going to do, when Jessie is captured by the CIA in season 6 and Riley is leveraging information about his mother’s death but holds out because they are his family, gosh! He was a very good and sad character where the organization had his whole family killed and him burned to make him an asset and he just begs Michael to kill him after he gets shot. Like you can see Michael gets really shook about it after he does that cause in the end Victor was a friend. Also the one where James drugs Michael and where Larry shows up because he's the closest thing he has to a father and helped him become a great spy but he was also evil and insane and Michael didn't wanna be like him.

I remember Jeff saying that he'd be up for it, but that he's unsure if he could keep up with the physical demands (as for stunts etc) for it to make it look authentic and as cool the previous seasons. As much as I'd like to have new content, I'm pretty happy with the 7 seasons and the ending it deserved. A lot of good shows have crappy finales and the majority of the last seasons is often also crap. Thankfully this is not the case with Burn Notice. ❤️

As messy as season 7 was at times, I did find James to be a very interesting antagonist. Apart from Anson or Larry, no other character truly drilled down into the heart of what makes Michael tick, to the point that he was able to manipulate Michael into turning on the CIA the way James did. He was incredibly loyal and willing to turn himself in and let Michael take over the organization to keep his friends out of jail. I personally felt that the final episode wrapped up the season and series quite nicely.

One of my favorites that I haven't seen mentioned already is the one where he gets caught up in Sam helping his friend with the charity that got scammed. "Floor safes are one of the most secure safes you can buy...as long as they remain in the floor." or something along those lines.

For my it was the ‘Psychological Warfare’ episode in S7 where James subjects him to sensory torture and he has hallucinations of Dead Larry. That was amazing acting by Jeffrey Donovan.

Great video but you're crazy. The 7th season is one of if not the best seasons in the whole series. I mean the season starts off with Mike killing a man. 10 out of 10, highly recommended in my opinion. The last season legitimately had my jaw hanging open. The only thing I would change is the ending. Instead of Mike coming back with Fee and Sam, he would have went with the Russian chic to start his own organization. Sam, Fee, and Jesse would have been reading about his mysterious exploits in the newspaper and though he was nameless in the newspaper they would have known it was Michael keeping the world safe that they were reading about.

Burn Notice is a great series. Its my second best TV series. Miami Vice would be first, hands down. Third would be StrikeBack. I'd luv to see a reunion of Burn Notice! Jeffrey Donovan was simply great in his own production! Before B.N I couldn't get past his face? Lol. His talent changed that quickly. I miss Burn Notice! Wow. It's been seven years! I have so much to say about the show. One of my best episode would be when Micheal Westen played a two bit hustler from Vegas. I was laughing the entire episode! Lol 👍👍

Bad Breaks is by far not only the best episode of the series but one of the best episodes of TV period. That being said, I think Hot Spot is a fine example of Michael, Sam and Fiona working together. I should also say in my opinion I like how Season 6 and Seven transitioned from the "Client of the Week" arc to focusing on the main storyline. It gave the show a new breath of fresh air and allows for new things to develop.

Best episodes are when Michael snaps his fingers and there are explosions that convince his opponents to listen to Michael. Other when Michael tries to find the kidnapped kid and Sam shoots his gun when the kidnappers are pointing guns at each other. Another episode is When Brennan is threatening Nate, Michael threatens Brennan’s daughters and convinces Brennan to back off Nate Just finished watching every episode.

Even after all these years burn notice is still my absolute favorite TV show. I don’t think there’s a bad episode in the bunch. My top favorites would be Broken Rules and Signals and Codes. I just really love the character that Michael plays in broken rules. And from signals, Spencer is such a fun character I just love him. Also one of my favorite scenes is when Michael is remembering Fi talking about her childhood and he says to her Time to be brave little angel. That scene gets me every time I always end up sobbing.

So I have a question and this is mostly to see if I'm crazy or not. I've just gotten half way through the season where Jesse joins the group (I believeit's season 4). Is it just me or did Jesse's introduction throw off the chemistry of the group when compared to the first 3 seasons? The very first time I felt the series taking a different direction was when Michael saw Fiona for the first time since the end of season 3 and they played it off as a joke. The most infuriating decisions they made in my opinion where: Fiona and Michael's relationships becomes nearly exclusively a joke, Sam seems overwhelming negative(no longer trusting him) towards Michael almost as if they need Micheal to constantly justify to the audience what is going on, Fiona while previously impulsive now completely disregards the safety of Michael and anyone else, Michael seems so much more resistant to doing jobs on the side or helping anyone with anything, and I feel like they used Jesse as the thing to go wrong in a mission one too many times. I don't know if the series corrects itself eventually or if my opinion about season 4 is shared with anyone else. I love the characters in burn notice, but I can't stand the changes they made seemingly out of nowhere. As a long time viewer of the show do you relate to any of my problems with early season 4?

On the DVD commentary i think for season six, Mat Nix explains that the show was supposed to end in season six. But USA essentially forced him to make a season 7 and thats why the second party of season six feels a bit wonky and the season story for 7 a bit weird as well. He was made to extend the last bit of his story and in a way had to make filler episodes without them feeling like filler episodes.

My favorite is Shockwave. It's my favorite because in a series that, up until this episode, had seemed to only sprinkle in a little drama here and there and kept things fairly light, this one absolutely ripped my heart out and cranked up the seriousness. To this day I can't watch it without tearing up.

I'm also a huge Bruce Campbell mark, which is what got me to watch this show initially. I'm glad I watched though because Jeffrey Donovan stole the show. Excellent job by him and all involved.
