I think Evos would be so much more fun if they would stop limiting which cards you can use so much, I’m trying to build a Luton Evo team and the only right back on the team (Kabore) can’t be evo’d despite being a 73 rated liability because he has 87 pace. Me having a 92 pace 76 rated right back wouldn’t suddenly make a full Luton squad overpowered and yet I can’t do it.

100% think it’s worth doing the lower rated players and build them up, a lot of the low golds have since got special cards, making the evos a pretty redundant. For example, Connor Gallagher.

I've done Lee Hee Kyun, he's an 87 rated CM for me at the moment with 99 in a lot of meta stats. Only thing that holds him back is the 3 star 3 star. As soon as we get some end-game evos he will be the best card in my squad. Crazy really. Only reason I did him at the beginning of the year is because he's a striker that can also play CM xD - I use him as an attacking cm atm.

Love to do the Evos but some are just shite and dont add up, the current one is Triple Treat wingback but no wingbacks are suitable or you dont make a wingback. Im doing a Feyenoord Evo but its harsh on the upgrades..

That’s probably deliberate on their end, that Reece James has been starting over Walker for me recently (Walker can’t do 90 mins with his high high I find)

Honestly evo restrictions is one thing that is stopping evos from being so good. Im oki with the rating restriction and position restricition but the stat restriction is so so strict. If they upped the stat restriction for certain evo such as this to like 85-87 pace you will have more options to use.

I'm now facing a wall with Aursnes. Because I've already evolved his base card to 84 through golden glow up II, but that card isn't eligible for this Evo due to having 8 playstyles. And now I'm wondering if I just evolve his IF and have two different Evo cards, or if I evolve a different card

Different card. He'll eventually be eligible for another one and you'll regret having two if he does. I did Garnacho for relentless winger and then they brought out the centurion one so I was in the same boat but I've done pellistri instead of having 2 garnachos. Eventually they will bring out another evo that my garnacho will fit

Because a base special always have better stats than a base card... I'll wait. To see if they drop another Evo for the midfield area before this one expires

yeah but all that only in theory - when i did the first evos - didn't know i could chain evos - or that more evos would come - it's only on retrospect - and you can't cancel and do evos again

I hate the thought of EA giving us these new Evolution cards and everyone STILL resorting to the meta players, the meta gameplay, the met evo players. Why not actually enjoy the game? Im a Bristol city fan, so I’ve chose not to do a full Bristol city evo side, instead I’ve gone for an Asian team and an African team.. to switch things up. I’ve evo’d some Asians, and some Africans and im having the best time I’ve ever spent on a fifa game. I love the evo’s, even the smaller upgraded ones like these

Disagree on how beneficial Evo's are, what fun is there evo'ing a team a that isn't even the slightest bit competitive. It's all flowers and rainbows using an Evo Arsenal team but when it comes to triple Evo'ing a player who is still worse than discard players there is no fun. That's up to 50 extra games to put yourself at a disadvantage

You should look at Conor Bradley’s Double evo, Bruiser Wingback and Triple Threat Wingback. The card has insane pace but doesn’t look crazy yet, but I bet in the next weeks he’ll be able to be an insane card.

I really wish they’d sort of given us the info that you could upgrade players all year long. Maybe I just wasn’t paying enough attention but early doors I took decent 82/83 players to evo because I thought what’s the point in doing a 72 silver to 73. Knowing now I could have taken my favourite silver to an 87 etc. I would have 100% done that and been patient.
