For those coming in, highly recommend to do the farm 68+ so you can kill them in the overworld. Makes the grind more "afk" so you can just watch other stuff and the xp/a-xp/mag/money is a nice bonus. With Lucky/Luckier find on everyone (not sure if it actually helps, but I already had Tycoon on everyone), it takes a little over 20 minutes to get to 99x roots. Perfect for an anime episode. You'll be done with your main party after about 5 episodes or so assuming you have the MAG and what your progress was like before.

It seems this is improved by increasing the Lk stat on the MC. With thief lineage and Lucky Find and 62 Lk, I’m getting one each time they are staggered without going into battle. This is indeed very op. Thank you!

This still works even on higher levels and might actually be faster. Killing them with Thief lets you get both the stun and kill item chance and then they can be respawned by going back to Akademia with the cat. Can get up to 4 roots at once every reset. Killing them will also net you 1k magla as well which is a nice bonus.

I know it works Kara and you can use it. It's just more efficient if you don't kill them since you're not factoring in travel time. Retreating only takes 10 seconds while going to cat to respawn is 20.

I'd say it's more like, if you have overleveled the encounter, don't sweat it, just take this alternate approach to the farm. You probably need the MAG as much as the archetype EXP anyway.

@@DuskoftheTwilight thats the thing, without any mag you will cap at 99 items with no chance to spend them since you will have every "current" archetype maxed while beeing stuck without mag, I rather farm money, mag and character exp and class exp at the same time in all honesty instead of just 1 of those, from an efficiency standpoint you farm at 25% efficiency doing only one, lets say you are double efficient which increases it to 50% which is still half the efficiency compared to getting all 4 ressources

Tested this an hour with the enter battle method and an hour with never entering battle and found maybe 2% difference which is within the realm of simple rng. Other than that, great guide.

The enemy resets its loot table from running away. Most RPG's wouldn't give you the item and reset the loot to be obtainable again. Why wait until they are able to hit again. If you got one item, you're sitting five seconds for a chance for one time when you can reset in the same time for two items now. It's not efficient at all.

This may be patched now, I was just trying to do it after finally reaching this dungeon and they do not give the items upon breaking the guard outside of combat. However you can still do this by killing them completely, getting the item, and then respawning them by traveling to academia.

Make sure the protagonist is in the Thief/Assassin/Ninja class, that's the one that has the passive where there's a chance for an item drop when you stun an enemy in the overworld. I'm using this method right now and it works. I also have Lucky Find on all of my active party members if that helps increase the drop rate.

You don't have to enter the battle :D Just leave em and reload to akademia. Ty for tip bro EDIT: I found out that you can do this forever. Wait for a bit and wait for the stun to be removed then attack them again. It's easier instead of going back to Akademia just to reset which does nothing. They still give item even if you get it, just attack them again.

Use Merchant on your protag and go to the spire of blind faith just below virga on the top floor there will be a bunch of skeletons just before the boss take them down you'll net an ungodly amount of mag and money basically pay to win and if your a high level already it'll be easier

I got in right under the wire at level 66. The damage creeps up so I'm only a few kills away from 67, so i have to reset the room when the damage starts getting too high. I maxed out the main character, so we'll see how long the patience holds with the party members.

Leave the dungeon and go to the Tower in Altabury. At the top before the boss fight should have one red crystal that spawns skeletons. Farm up mag and then come back here for archetype experience. No it's not a waste of a day since the game gives you 12 to do whatever if you spent each time slot doing something meaningful towards follower ranks, royal virtues, sidequest or the coliseum!

You either had Mag coming in, otherwise level up as many Archetypes to max and then cap on 99 and leave. If you used each day wisely, you should have 12 days left to do whatever you want. You can come back once you accumulated more Mag Guimu!

If you followed the set up one to one then it might just be your own luck. On average I was getting six to 10 per minute and I never invested a single point into Luck.

You missed a few good areas since you're on the last 30 days now. I have a video on the channel if you want to check that out. You can go to the Tower in Virga Isles and farm there. You should have a sidequest needing you to go there so you can double dip!

This isn't really a Mag farming spot. I suggest leaving and going somewhere else then coming back. If you have been utilizing each day properly then you'll have 12 days left at to do whatever you want so you can come back later to farm Archetype Experience. I had all sidequest, Royal Virtues and followers finished/max rank and I had nothing to do so don't stress that you need to do all this farming on this one day.

What I’ve done is use spire of blind faith, equip all characters with merchant and mc with mage. Burn all my mp on mag collection, on the skeletons (making sure to get the no hit bonus). Then I would farm a-exp and regain mp afterwards + the mimic in the center and rinse wash repeat. The cat is just upstairs and the skeletons are so bundle together you can get your mp back relatively quickly

The best Archetype Experience. It's so good that you'll Master all Archetypes which makes you run out of Mag quickly. I recommend farming Mag before coming here otherwise you'll run out before finishing up everyone.
