You forgot to mention that melee weapons have other uses like cutting barbed wire fence, smashing down doors etc, not all melee weapons can do this so it's worth taking into account.

The club sucks The knife is the best, fastest take down animation if you poke enemy in the back plus it's supper quick

Russian axe, ottoman kilij and sickle for heavy melee weapons. Nail knife, broken bottle and compact trench knife for light melee. Clubs I never use, don't ask why.
