No I haven’t Chuck but next time I’m at MRS I will ask Doug if he’s got some and we will try it out. thanks for the suggestion!

Merv, you make your own spru-glue (also called spr-goo) by adding bits of cut up spru to a bottle of tamiya extra thin cement. It will take a while for the sprue to melt. I se this to fill seams

The only good I ever experienced from the old Testors Orange tube glue is that thanks to it I can easily disassemble my old builds years later in order to clean, reassemble/paint them much better than before. Tamiya extra thin is great in its own right as I can re-wet joints and disassemble as needed to correct a fit issue. Strong bonds are so much easier to achieve with Tamiya, however I still sometimes get a random finger print here or there to correct, but that’s my own fault!

Thanks for watching and thanks for commenting. Yes that is the best part of the old testers glue is it does make it easy to tear things apart and rebuild them. That’s why I do get a lot of already built pieces off of eBay and take them apart and rebuild them myself. Well OK and the smell is pretty good too! LOL

I use the good ol tube glue only thing i hate about it is when ya first open it it wants to ozz all over the place

Yeah I was really surprised about that when I open this one up. But that does happen quite frequently and what a mess that stuff makes. And the fumes, No wonder I am the way I am!
