The more simple you keep your strategy the more likely you are to be profitable. This video basically confirmed my time frames I want to use.

One of the clearest explanations of multi-timeframe swing trading I've ever come across - and all in seven and a half minutes. Great stuff.

I hate all those other KZbinrs confusing everyone with their boring and ridiculous theories about time frames. Just beating around the bush. This is definitely the best video on the subject.

My question is personal when it comes to TP and SL and you make a new order as a swing trade 1D chart can same TP & SL figure be used in a 15M chart.

Many thanks, what differentiates between swing trading and position trading? Looking forward hearing from you
@TradeProAcademy5 жыл бұрын
Hey Pete, thanks for watching and commenting! The difference between swing traders and position traders is the duration of the trades (position trades tend to hold anywhere from 2 weeks to several months, even a year) & the analysis style. Since position traders hold for longer durations, their styles tend to be a happier mix of fundamental and technical analysis because they are trying to capture macro trends whereas swing traders are primarily technical based since they try to capture shorter-term market moves out of overbought/oversold positions! This is a great idea for another video! Thanks for interacting! Cheers - Mark

@@TradeProAcademy Thank you! This past week for my weekly swing trades, I have been charting on the day time frame, analyzing price action and confluence on the 4 hour time frame, and entry triggers on the 1 hour time frame. Thus far on 22 trades, this strategy has provided me with a risk:reward of 1:3 and a win rate of 87%! You guys rock!

Can you make a video on best time frames for day trading
@jeffrocker75043 жыл бұрын
What has been working for me lately is firstly, bringing up the daily and drawing the high and low of the previous day for good support/resistance lines. Secondly, about an hour before market open (in the premarket), I use the 15 minute time frame and I draw my support/resistance lines. I then will check back on the 15 minute chart as it gets closer to market open for any new lines that need to be drawn from new patterns. When the market opens, I switch to the 1 minute and I now I have strong support and resistance lines already drawn for where I can detect a bounce with price action while I'm trading on the 1 minute. Hope this helps!
@TradeProAcademy3 жыл бұрын
I can certainly make one for the best chart types, but often times for day trading it isn't a "time" frame. It's more important to use volume and price based candles (tick charts, range bars, etc). Hope this helps. - G

ES futures, it wasn't 24 exactly - cause it closes for 75 minutes of each day, so let's say 22.75 - close enough haha. Just enough time for food and a washroom break. Never again do I want to do that. - G

He says look for a pullback on the 1 hour and then references the 4 hour at the end of the video. I'm guessing he's just saying a pullback on the 1 hour...
@uvggaming99283 жыл бұрын
The market is not open for 24 hours so you only get bar on a 4 hour scale compared to day chart
