Also an add-on to this video, it's not showing in that candle chart but the bid/ask lines you have to pass before you can make profit, some markets are bigger then other so the lines will be further apart from each other so in short if you make an order at a 1min chart it might take you 10-15 candles in the direction you are hoping for until you actually can make any profits and by that time the market might change direction, so it's better to look for a more "calm" market then those big ones usually.

@@George72632 yes. When the spread is only a few pennies or less then it’s considered tight which is better than a “wide” spread

Renee Brown you are still buying from sellers. It’s just when the demand is higher on the buy side, people will buy on the ask causing the price to increase

You can place a limit order to sell for more than the best ask but it won’t get filled unless someone buys your shares
