That young man is so incredibly smart and articulate.. I’ve listened to him many times. I pray for him often…. I can tell he wants the Lord, but his intellect gets in his way. It’s sad, because God gave him such a gift with a remarkable intellect and God wants to use it for HIS purpose. Let’s all pray for this young man. 🤍

Personally I believe blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is attributing the work of Christ to the devil. This becomes clear when reading this scripture in context.

The one that did this is the devil, himself, right? That, he could create just as well as the Almighty… do you think any being besides the devil is guilty of the unforgivable sin?

@elanaedmisson5 you're right, but you gotta understand the context of "blasphemy of the Holy Spirit." It's in Mark 20-30. Read it. The laws masters were accusing Jesus of driving out demons by the power of the Devil. So He questioned, put a sense of the absurdity of it, and brought up the unforgivable sin. You're right, but it is valid to mention the ones to do it. They were doing well knowingly that it was from God himself because they are God Law Masters, they have full knowledge of the character of God and Satan. Fulfilling prophecies, they hated Jesus Christ for no reason, and they were trying to descredit the authority of the One and Only.

I. Was just praying about that today? Did I say anything about the Holy Spirit when I was high or drunk or out of my mind? And then you put this video up and now I feel so free. I can go to heaven because I never. Ever meant to put the Holy Spirit down in any way? Not God, not the Lord Jesus and not the Holy Spirit, I say Amen.❤

Many have shared your experience. It is not something to cause worry as you point out, for the Son os God, Jesus, also teaches that whoever His Father gives to him will come to him asking for forgiveness and redemption. And those who come to Jesus He will in no way caste out.

That's actually not the sin although that is very very bad but it talks about it one of the gospels that it was because they were accusing Jesus of having an evil spirit they were saying that the Holy Spirit was an evil spirit in Mark 3:28 -30

I get what you're saying. But in simpler terms I think people need to understand that blasphemy is likened to committing offence toward God. Blasphemy of the holy spirit can be 1.r efusing to believe it exists 2. As you stated falsely accusing it of evil works. 3. Rejecting and denying the holy spirit knowing it exists

I will admit, brother, I have blasphemed against God, against His character, against His message, and even the very idea of Jesus. But I repent and ask for forgiveness. I understand that blaspheming against the Holy Spirit is considered unforgivable by many. However, I believe that if I never seek forgiveness, I will never receive it. Jesus is known to be slow to anger and full of forgiveness. I acknowledge that I have been wrong and committed sins, and I openly confess my faults and wrongdoings. I repent and ask for forgiveness, believing in Jesus and His mercy. By recognizing my mistakes and sharing my repentance with others, I hope to find salvation through my faith in Him.

How could that be blasphemy of the Holy Spirit if the action he’s describing does not line up with the definition of blasphemy
@connorpayne2671
@connorpayne2671 10 сағат бұрын
That could be true, but it's not something against the Father or Son. It's speaking against and/or blaspheming the Holy Spirit. The context is that the Pharisees were saying Jesus was working by the power of demons when He cast a demon out of a man. If it was by the Power of the Holy Spirit, they called the Holy Spirit a demon and spoke against Him

Why do Catholics think that suicide is the unforgivable sin. I've had many disagreements with my dad about this. He isn't Catholic but insists on standing on his view even though I can't find any Biblical condemnation. I don't necessarily agree with suicide, but I don't agree with his view

This guy has done what God doesn't do. He has given up on God's creation and condemned them to hell forever. We return to God when we learn to forgive. This preacher has not learned that. And we can only truly forgive when we allow the Holy Spirit to teach us to forgive because the carnal mind doesn't know what forgiveness is. When we change our mind, metanoia, and listen to the Holy Spirit, we will know that everyone will do the same. We also know that we are already innocent because we cannot change God's perfect spiritual creation. "If you had known what these words mean, 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice,' you would not have condemned the innocent." Sacrifice doesn't work because it assumes we are guilty bodies, not spirit.
@Acts238.

We are NOT innocent. Romans 3:23. There is a point we can reach where we are too far gone. Paul talks about it in Romans 1.

@@Acts238. Paul was trying to be better than other people, too. That's why he lived a life of sacrifice so he could be more like Christ than other people. But Jesus taught us to forgive so we would know we are all the same, not to sacrifice. @robertdouglas8895 What do you mean "not to sacrifice"? Sacrifice is absolutely necessary in the Christian life. We need to sacrifice our sin and our old life. And also, shouldn't we all try to be most like Christ as possible?
@robertdouglas8895
@robertdouglas8895 12 сағат бұрын
@@Acts238. Sacrifice does not end sin. It just punishes the body which is not a loving thing to do. "“There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love” Forgiveness ends sin by changing your mind about it. Metanoia. Other people don't hurt you. You hurt yourself. You are not a victim. You get the life you ask for. "Ask and you shall receive."

Our Lord Jesus said this to the Pharisees back then. Then he died for all sins. Now is the time of Grace. If someone is a new creation, he is a child of God and cannot stop being a child of God. This teaching is wrong. Jesus IS Our repentence. Jesus forgives us every Sin. We are holy and free. Do Your son or daughter who is gone to the world and made som horrible things is not Your Son/daughter eny more ? What happening with son who went with girls, pigs etc. Father took him as he was his son, He Was even more....❤
