What is the Capital Structure and Why is it Important? | MAC2602 / MAC3702 / MAC3761

Regardless of which lever of Managerial Accounting and Finance you are studying, it is important to understand the basic principles of Capital Structure.
A company can be funded by a combination of equity and debt. The proportions of debt vs equity in the capital structure of the company will have an impact on its risk, as well as the cost of capital.
