As a commercial drone pilot here in Australia I on occasion point out to recreational drone operators that they can not fly in an area. The response is usually yes I can DJI app says it's OK. So they common misconception is you can fly if DJI app says so. Where as the fact is if DJI says no, it's no but if it says yes, check CASA, FAA etc as well.

Aloha, from Hawaii, thanks for the Video! I am new to drone flying I live in a red zone and do not have Par107 Lic.. Can I fly in my back yard at a safe height just to practice? I notice a the app in the red zone it was a 200' height limitation in my back yard. Thoughts please.

DJI unlocks your remote "AKA" unlocking license, but 1st the FAA must give the pilot authorization then said pilot must provide the FAA authorization to DJI flysafe to unlock the particular area said pilot is wanting to fly. #pppppfffttt #KindaCORRECT #InsuranceClaimsPILOT
