Forthwith Tx, So you're advocating for lawlessness? You mean to tell us that there is a particular group of people who *aren't* supposed to keep the Commands of Yahuwah? I'm sure that I don't want any part of a people that *are not* governed by Yahuwahs' Perfect Law. Wise up! Yahuwah *NEVER* changes or "changes His mind" about how He wants us to behave towards Him or our fellow man. It is true that we are saved through faith alone. As someone who truly knows what that means, I am compelled by gratitude for the Sacrifice of Yahushua, and a deep love and trust for my Creator, to keep *all* of His perfect Commands, Statutes and Appointed times to the very best of my knowledge and ability. You know what? IT'S EASY! You will be so very blessed if you do!

I believe when Christ went to Sheol or hell, for three days he told the prophets of old like Isaiah, Abraham, and Isac many other who wrote about him, to rest for a little while longer, and that he overcame, and was back. Yes, it was a Miracle some Saints were walking around, to me that is comforting, that Death is not as bad as we think, we just go to sleep, I also believe maybe that they were warned to keep quiet about these things, and they passed away again, the same as Lazarus. And Bless you for teaching others, so many don't even open the Bible, but believe unto men that fill them with Lies about Heaven, as the Bible say's. The only one that ascended into Heaven was the man Christ. For he came from Heaven. Again Thank you so much for speaking the Good News of Gods Kingdom. I am of no denomination because I want Truth not lies. No Church has done that, just the Word Of God.

"If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself." Come let us reason together: Who alone has earned the right and is the possessor of the Keys of death and Hell ? (Revelation 1:18) Who is that Angel of The LORD who bound the "Strongman" at the "First Resurrection" ? Revelation 20 tells us clearly using the singular pronouns "He" and "Him" 6 times that Lucifer alone was cast into the bottomless pit ("sides of the pit. Isaiah 14/Ezekiel 28) Who was cast out into the bottomless pit, ALL the billions (if not more) that fell with Lucifer or only "The Strongman" as the Lord Jesus clearly stated just before he bound Him? " NOW is the judgment of this world NOW is the prince of this world cast out. " John 12:31 Peter said "Lord we have forsaken all to follow thee, what therefore shall we receive ?" 28And Jesus said unto them, "Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration (Holy Ghost given) when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel." Matt 19:28, Luke 22:30 FIRST RESURRECTION "And I saw thrones and judgment was given to THEM........" Revelation 20 " NOW is Christ risen from the dead the firstfruits (plural) of them (plural) that slept (past tense)." I Corinthians 15:20 "NOW is the time for judgment to begin in the house of God......" God Bless You

Shalom Brother Lex, blessings to you and your family. I always wondered about that verse in Mathieu 27:52-53 and I thought that maybe, just maybe this verse had something to do with 1Peter 3:18 For the Messiah himself died for sins, once and for all, a righteous person on behalf of unrighteous people, so that he might bring you to God. He was put to death in the flesh but brought to life by the Spirit; 19 and in this form he went and made a proclamation to the imprisoned spirits, 20 to those who were disobedient long ago, in the days of Noach, when God waited patiently during the building of the ark, in which a few people - to be specific, eight - were delivered by means of water. If not would you be able to explain it to me? I sure would like to understand this verse thank you!

It was metaphor. It was referring to those who were physically alive but dead spiritually. The day they were all changed by the new birth, made a new creation. Unfortunately the editors of the NT didn't understand what was being relayed. All Of the OT Saints who were credited with righteousness were already in heaven. (Prophets, martyers, kings, priests). The new covenant is about resurrection IN THE LIFE which the OT lay saints didn't expierence. They were only visited by the spirit. In The new covenant the spirit lives in all those anointed who live righteous.

We must consider all the Scripture. Remember Luke 24:44........... Mat 2:16 Then Herod, (Rev.12:4) when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men. Mat 2:17 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, (Jer.31:15) Mat 2:18 In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not. Luk 2:34 and Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, 'Lo, this one is set for the falling and rising again of many in Israel, and for a sign spoken against. --I submit that these are the many saints that were resurrected after the resurrection of Messiah. Notice--Jer 31:16 Thus said יהוה, “Hold back your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears, for there is a reward for your work,” declares יהוה, “and they shall return from the land of the enemy. Notice also in the above verse we are found false witnesses if we don't teach the resurrected saints, aka Rachel's children, the Holy Innocent. Rev 14:4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the FIRSTFRUITS unto God and to the Lamb. --I submit that these saints are:/The Bride Rev 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come./The 144,000 Rev.7 & 14/The Firstfruits Levi.23:9-14 Joh 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. --So remember Luke 24:44... Messiah was fulfilling Scripture/Feasts the whole time He was here. He will continue when HE returns! He is the First fruit! The Saints are the Firstfruits. We, the Body/Children of the Kingdom are a type of Firstfruits, James 1:18, Lev 23:17 Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baked with leaven; they are the firstfruits unto the LORD. To make a rude analogy, Jesus is the Book and Tanakh is the Movie made after Him. Jesus said that not a yota (part of a letter, so not even a full letter) will pass out from the Scripture will pass and the Scripture at that time was only Tanakh. Every time you see "Scriptures" written in the New Testament, think that they refer to Tanakh, since they only had that at that moment.

If nobody goes to Heaven then how do you explain: (2 for 5:8) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. , or Luke 23:39-43King James Version (KJV) 39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. 40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? 41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. 42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. 43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.

Paradise is the Eden remade, a place on Earth not on Heaven. And there weren't punctuation signs in the old manuscripts, and we know a statement differ depending on where you place the comma, though this is a higly suspicios point. I would have to give a reason why Jesus said today, the only thing i find strong enough is to accentuate that, because this guy's change of heart happened that day, what Jesus told him was valable from that day on. (Yesterday maybe Jesus would've told him to go and sin no more, like He said to that woman before).

The Saints that died are not yet in Heaven, but right underneath it. I believe that is the "Abraham's Bosom" that is spoken of in Luke. Abraham's Bosom is where the Righteous are until judgement. It's like how the Unrighteous go to hell, and then the lake of fire after judgement.

Section 4 of 5 The scriptures do say that the tombs where these bodies were after the eathquake were raised up. The Greek word anastasis means to raise up. But how was this and how was this word used in verse 52 if no holy ones came to life? Remember holy ones were faithful servants, prophets & kings...in this case this would mean the saints were laid to rest near the holy city of Jerusalem...all of this happening just before the double sabbath was to start within approximately three hours after Christ's death. Mark 15:42, 43; Luke 23:54-56 Notice that the scriptures hold out the time of the first fruits of this first resurrection of the saints or elect in the future called the time of the end. This first resurrection takes place at a future time before Satan is abysed and the beginning of Christ Millennial reign. Rev 20:1-6 This raising up was violent. This event was caused by the earthquake to which it opened the tombs of the dead and tossed the corpses or bones out of their tombs. Similar incidences have happened before and in more recent times. In 1949 Ecuador, in 1962 in Sonson Columbia where approximately 200 corpses in the cemetery rose from, came out of or thrown out from their tombs by a violent Earth tremor. - El Tiempo, Bogota, Colombia, July 31, 1962 Messiah Jesus said that the hour will come when all those in the Tomb will come out to his voice. John 5:28, 29. AllThe word "All" encompasses the entire earth.

To offer a counter point: Yeshua is the first fruit (singular) of the resurection per 1Cor 15:20. Aparche is singular not plural. I believe that collectively they are the firstfruits of the resurrection (my opinion). I think the gospel of Nicodemus (non-canonical) talks more about them.

Brother Paul, perhaps I may be able to give you a little insight as to what happened to the righteous who came to life after Jesus' resurrection. Matthew 27:53 53 They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and[e] went into the holy city and appeared to many people. This same scenario appears in Rev 6:9-11 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. 10 They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” 11 Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters,[e] were killed just as they had been. These saints died again and are waiting for the resurrection to this day.
@mmccrack3n3 жыл бұрын
Hey Lex, Hope you are well. Been a while since we chatted last. Not dogmatic on this, but pondering the scenario below. I was considering this possibility related to the open graves: There was a 1900+ year gap between “to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD” and “the day of vengeance of our God”. Isa 61:2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; Wondering if there is also a gap between the first century first fruits of the barley harvest (Jesus Christ), and the math27:52-53 event as well. If so, this event could be both the finale of the barley harvest and the main wheat harvest… at the same time (in our time): the bringing forth of a holy nation, a peculiar people, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye. Mat 27:52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, Mat 27:53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
@kenjewett26427 жыл бұрын
Listen to Isaiah 26:19 19 "Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead." That promise was answered in Matthew 27:50-53 Not to mention Matthew 12:27-29 and Matthew 19:28 When Jesus not only described that he would bind ( ONLY) the "strongman" in the first Resurrection but that the apostles would be the ones seated upon thrones in judgment after the Holy Ghost was given and they followed the Lord to heaven, from where he REIGNS currently and since his ascension. :) NOW is Christ risen from the dead and become the firstfruits (plural) of them (plural) that slept(past tense)." As of the writing of this letter to the Corinthians....THEM didn't sleep no more ;)
@edwynnkelley1367 жыл бұрын
Section 5 of 5 So who were those that came out & entered the holy city? It was the people at the cemetery where this event took place as eyewitnesses. It was "they" who entered the city after the dead were thrown about, raised up out of their tombs. "They" became visible to many people were the events or signs that took place, that is why scriptures say those who witnessed these signs; Roman officers & Jews saying from their lips & hearts: "this truly was God's Son?". Mt 28:54; Mr 15:39; Lu 23:47, 48 Take note too that the great 1st century Jewish historian Flavius Josephus nor any other historian, nor early Church fathers, etc. ever mention anything closely resembling this resurrection from the dead & walking to Jerusalem from their graves event of saints which would've been the greatest miracle not only for Christianity, but the known secular world of that time until today. I didn't want to compile all of this in one comment. I hope this helps.

Although it does not say the saints ascended to heaven with Jesus neither does it say that anyone saw Jesus acceded to heaven so you can not assume they did not ascend to heaven with Jesus from the text. However, we know that Jesus said He was going to ascend to the Father after meeting Mary but before letting the women clasp His feet. We also never hear any more about the saints or where they went. Therefore it is is only reasonable to assume that they vanished from the area, otherwise we should have accounts of these Holy Saints existing and living in Jerusalem or Israel till their deaths. Jesus did indeed take the resurrected bodies of these holy people who had been seen that morning in the city and presented them before God as the first fruits wave offering. This was in fulfilment of the Day of First Fruits when the high priest would have been presenting the first fruits of the barley harvest as a wave offering in the temple that morning and like the priest Jesus would not have gone before the LORD empty handed: Deuteronomy 16:16 Three times a year all your men must appear before the LORD your God at the place he will choose: at the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Weeks and the Festival of Tabernacles. No one should appear before the LORD empty-handed. These Holy people then sat on some of the twenty-four thrones around God’s throne: Revelation 4:4 Surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones and seated on them were twenty-four elders. They were dressed in white and had crowns of gold on their heads.

UNLEARN the lies How can I help you unlearn the lies? I see you have good intentions and are getting closer and closer to the truth. since you are humble and will adjust to what the truth is I would like to release to u some of it. since u know jesus spoke in parables to hide the truth, you know u can understand them only if God allows u to. since the death of early church saints , the teachings of christ were changed and abolished one by one. that's why the bible became a "sealed scroll". since people strayed from Gods commands and followed man teaching as prophecied in Isaiah 29. that's why Rev5 says the bible is sealed and no one could look inside. it means spiritually no one can understand it since they are not worthy due to the truth being taken away. that's why bible prophecies we need to seek " David " in the last days and learn from him. ( hos 3:5) ( Micah 4:1) I am one who has learned from him and the teachings he gave prove it since his teaching is like the light to the eyes. there is an amazing harmony between the old testament and the new. like even the real reason jesus did the foot washing ceremony before taking the bread and wine of passover. since jesus is the reality of the sanctuary, and eating passover is the way to enter jesus, he did foot washing first to fulfill law of Moses when they had to wash their feet before entering the sanctuary or they would die. that was a shadow that we also need to wash our feet before taking passover . that's the reason jesus said Unless I wash u, u have no part with me. I want to share more but this is important for now. how can I contact u directly to share with you more?

Section 3 of 5 Notice: immediately after Christ's death there was a strong earthquake. It was strong enough to open the ground and split large rock masses. These two versus do not describe a resurrection or raising up of life. This is why their is no mention in oral or written history, nor eyewitness accounts anywhere of a mass resurrection or any sort on the day Messiah died; no mention of this event because no one was raised to life from the dead on this day. With the exception of God's Angel descending from heaven, earthquakes we're never associated with any resurrection scene in the scriptures other than after the double Sabbath when Messiah's tomb was found opened when he was resurrected. Mt 28:1, 2

I’m reading out of an older King James Bible and this is the what I see in 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verses 20-23. First we already know that there has already been a resurrection recorded on the Bible during the time of Jesus, which should automatically tell us that resurrection is possible, possibly even before the return of Jesus. In these verses, it says the first FRUITS, not first fruit, which to me means more than one person. It also says every man in his own order, which to me means there will be resurrections taking place at different times before Jesus returns! I don’t think my Bible can make it any more clear! If the Saints were raised, who says Christ’s first FRUITS cannot be raised before Jesus returns!

This is a wrong misinterpretation brother! The first fruits was the name given to the first of the harvests in the old Testament. Jesus Christ was the representation of that symbolically. Christ is then the first fruits. In The preceding verses Paul explains that christ has become the first fruits unto us once again using the plural form.

One problem I see with your conclusion is this: If the resurrected saints died again after Christ's resurrection, what assurance do we - who also will be resurrected after His resurrection - have that we too won't die again? I can see examples like Lazarus who died again before His resurrection rising again at the last day, but I can see no way that anyone raised to life after Christ's resurrection will ever die again. Please address with scripture. Also "firstfruits" in Greek is in the PLURAL MASCULINE FORM while "CHRIST" is in the SINGULAR. What will you do with that?
@hladawh Жыл бұрын
But some other translations writes this. Below is the example. 1 Corinthians 15:23 - NIV 23. But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him. In Mathew, the time frame of the resurrection of those whose graves were opened is not given, but it could only be after Jesus died. In John 20:17 - NIV 17. Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’ ” It's was Monday, the first day of the week. According to Moses law, the priest has to wave the firstfuits on the day after the Sabbath which is the first day of the week. Jesus being becoming the Priest of the Most High forever according to the order of Melchizedek, presenting those he raised up from the dead as firstsfruits of all the deads, on First day of the week, and according to 1 Corinthians 15:23 - NIV, it seems right to me, that those whose graves were opened were the firstfruits, By doing so He fulfilled the Law of Moses just as He said He come to fulfil the Law. but as the bible say, Christ is also the first fruits. Since Christ is Resurrection, after He was raised from the dead, then He raised those whose graves were open and he presented to God in Heaven as firstfruits.

The firstfruits is one sheef of many. Not just one stalk. The last of firstfruits is the remnant of her seed. The 10 lost tribes that are harvested or raised to life in the 3rd day. Both are the first resurrection as Rev. 20:5-6 and hosea 6 explains. In the OT only the anointed kings priests prophets were anointed. In the NT all who live righteous are kings priests prophets.

Lex - I would ask that you take a look at the Greek for 1 Corinthians 15:20. The word that is translated into first-fruits (plural), I believe is actually first-fruit (singular). Meaning that Yeshua is the first and best of the fruit. He is the choicest or the best out of all of the fruit to include all of the first fruits. He alone, at that time, was resurrected with a new body, which points to the coming resurrection. Shalom brother and have a blessed Pesach/Matzah/and Bikkurim celebration.

UNLEARN the lies thanks for your response, indeed there is no distinction between a believing Jew and a believing Gentile because of Jesus, yet we all knew where we're coming from, even at a point Paul used his citizenship to defend his case. The reason I asked you whether you're a believing Jew or a believing Gentile is because I really wanna know more, I wanna know your opinion on the letter that the elders sent from Jerusalem to the Gentile believers concerning the burden of living like the Jews as it relates to laws and Jewish customs, because if am not mistaking; I think I've observed that you live like the Jews, e.g keeping of Sabbath, Passover etc. Now I am a believer, I believe in God Almighty and in his son Jesus the Christ, I am a saved Gentile, I don't know how to prepare a Passover etc, so do I need to go back and learn those principles? these are the main reasons why I wanted to know your earthly Citizenship before you believe so that I may also know the reason behind your lifestyle, thanks.

The picture we are given of the first fruits is a sheaf, many stalks of grain. There is no proof that these resurrected saints are the 24 elders, but they may well be. Also we know that Messiah became our High Priest, so He would have presented the first fruits before the altar as a wave offering; and we see the 24 elders bowing down before the throne, which is a waving motion. It fits the picture, but there is no proof one way or the other, but I think for you to call it a "lie" is a bit too much.

"All the beasts of the forest are mine and the cattle upon a THOUSAND hills." " The Lord your God he is God keeping Covenant with those who love him to a THOUSAND generations." Does the LORD become unfaithful after 1001 generations ? (Speaking as a fool)... or does the term " Thousand have a deeper meaning ? Yes. It means " Total Completeness" or " Leaving nothing out". Surely the LORD owns ALL the Cattle on ALL the hills and he is faithful to ALL generations...... In the exact same manner, those who were accounted worthy of the First Resurrection "with my dead body" according to Isaiah 26:19 and Matthew 27:50-53 (More blessed are those who having not seen [Messiah Manifest] yet believed)..... "THEY lived (Zoe) and reigned( basileuo) with Christ until the COMPLETENESS of years." ( Any Moment Now) Yep. As simple as it sounds, the "First Resurrection" is the Resurrection that happened First. ;) and that's why " the rest of the dead lived (Zoe) not again until the (chillias5507-Completeness) of years." Which event is the " Wheat Harvest" currently growing with tares among us. And will occur momentarily at the "Last Trumpet" (I Cor. 15:52) when Jesus will raise up the dead on what HE CALLED the " Last Day" (John 6:39-40) and as the " earth and the elements thereof melt in fervent heat." as Peter warned. God Bless You

Points to consider: The Bible does not tell us what happened after the dead arose with Christ so it is also conjecture to assume they did not enter heaven with him and that they lived out their lives on earth. I understand that you can make a reasonable assumption for them dying again based on the examples you gave in the video for Lazarus but here are some points to consider as well. One can also conclude that Jesus, along with the resurrected, are the firstfruits based on 1 Cor. 15:20 because “firstfruits” is plural. Looking into the text a bit deeper it says Jesus is the firstfruits. Why? The text says because He was resurrected. “But now is Christ risen from the dead and become the firstfruits of them (also plural) that slept” It would logically follow that anyone else who was resurrected with him would naturally be apart of these firstfruits. The context of the verse as well as the entire chapter is around the concept of resurrection from the dead. An additional point which I believe is necessary for fully understanding the nature of firstfruits is the question - firstfruits of what? The answer is clearly the harvest! Remember the parable in Matt:20. The harvest is people. The waive sheef offering was symbolic of it’s antitypical fulfillment in Jesus’s resurrection. But we’ve missed the point if only Jesus is all of the firstfruits because the whole point of him dying was for US (you and me) to live and to be resurrected to eternal life should we die. That’s the point being brought out in 1Cor 15. The text is saying don’t worry if you or your loved one dies because if they died in Jesus resurrection is guaranteed because we are the fruit of God’s labor. In fact, he already took back a sample! What about the resurrected previous to Jesus’s crucifiction? They would not be considered first fruits nor can they be because Jesus hadn’t finished his work or fulfilled the law yet. It’s His victory over sin on the cross that pulls this whole thing together. After his death and resurrection, anyone resurrected with him would naturally be apart of that wave sheaf offering to God. Returning to the text, notice that Paul calls Jesus the first fruit of “them that slept”. Notice the qualification. In other words, this is one type of first fruit. The first firstfruits in 1 Corinthians are those that are resurrected, but you will recall in Rev 14, the 144,000 are also called “firstfruits” as well. But the Bible does NOT call them the “firstfruits of them that slept”. Just firstfruits. Again, they are also products of a harvest, but they are LIVING saints at the end of earth’s probation. Notice again that these firstfruits in Revelation do not include Jesus. Rev 14:4 says “These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God AND TO THE LAMB. They are living saints because they live through the seven last plagues. Note Rev 7:16. The 144,000 live through the plague of heat. To address the 24 Elders question we go to the text and discover that they are in fact human. Look at Rev 5:8,9. The 24 elders fell down before the lamb and sung a new song saying “for thou wast slain, and hast REDEEMED us to God by thy blood out of every kindred and tongue and PEOPLE. Only humans can be redeemed and by their own admission, they are humans. To tackle Elijah and Moses on the mount of transfiguration we go to the Bible. We know Elijah was taken to heaven in a whirlwind in 2Kings 2:11. So we know Elijah was in fact alive in heaven and never died. Similar to Enoch who God also took. How about Moses? We know he died, but was he ever resurrected? We look at Jude1:9 and we see that Michael the archangel (which is Christ) took the body of Moses. Again, we know that God is the God of the living and not the dead (Mark 12:27) so we know that Jesus resurrected the body of Moses which is why He could appear and give Christ strength along with Elijah on the mount of transfiguration from a human’s perspective. Lastly, to deal with the point about the prophets not yet receiving the promise so we will all get our new bodies together, I must still disagree. We know that Enoch is in heaven. We also know that Elijah is in Heaven. We have just discovered that Moses is also in heaven. Does this mean that others who died have also gone to heaven? No. In each of these instances, God translated or resurrected these people specifically and definitely for a purpose. They likely represent the harvest in it’s diversity. Some resurrected, some translated directly. Some Israelites etc… But the Bible is clear that the dead know not anything and that David and the other patriarchs are still awaiting resurrection. Just not Moses, Elijah, Enoch, and the 24 elders. These have specific work to do. Also, look at the text - what promise is being spoken about in Hebrews? We go forward to vs 22-28 of the next chapter. The promise being spoken about is actually the Kingdom. Remember Rev 22:2, when we are finally home - then we will all eat of the tree of life which is in the midst of the city in the Kingdom. It’s not a stretch to say the humans who have been translated to heaven have not yet eaten of the tree of life. (This is conjecture on my part). However, we know Jesus will not drink of the vine until he comes back, so there is a precident. We also know the food in Heaven can sustain a human for a very long time (Elijah not needing to eat for 40 days 1kings 19:8) This is a lot and I tried to condense it, but the main points are these: #1. When you die, you do NOT go directly to heaven. You await resurrection. However, some people’s resurrections have been sooner than others. The 24 elders are most likely those that came from Jesus’s resurrection because there are no other resurrections spoken about in the Bible that fit this bill. The Bible is clear, and the 24 elders are HUMAN and have been Redeemed. #2. We cannot say Jesus is the firstfruit (single wave sheaf) when the Bible says He is the firstfruits (plural). #3. There are more than one firstfruits. First the firstfruit of the dead and then the firstfruits of the living. #4 Moses and Elijah DID appear to Jesus on the mount of transfiguration (Matt 17:3). They ARE alive and in Heaven according to the Bible. We cannot dismiss this. I hope this has been helpful.

Section 1 of 5 Hey Lex. This is a very interesting topic, but one that causes great confusion for most. I can help you find the answer to this in 5 sections dear brother. Section 1 of 5 Remember Matthew 27:51 & 52 is immediately after Messiah took his last breath which was at 3:00 right before Nisan 15 started at sundown. Messiah was raised from the dead three days later after the great or double sabbath sometime at the twilight start of the new day's cycle on Nisan 16 of the Jewish holy calendar. Mt 28:1 Remember there were Roman centurions standing next to Messiah to break his legs to hasten his death, one that pierced his side in the heart & those that were by the two that were killed with him, the corpes rising out of the tombs as well as the earthquake & very long & heavy temple curtain that separated the holy from the Most Holy being completely town in half. This is all the exact same time frame, but in three different locations: #1. the temple where the curtain was rent in two, #2. Golgotha; the site of the executions, #3. the cemetery where the tombs were to which the last two places were outside of the holy city. Mt 27:27-54, Mr 15:16-39, Lu 23:32-49, Jo 19:17-34

You answered your own question with 1 Corinthians 20-23 .The 24 elders were the ones who rose with The High priest (Messiah) at His resurrection .Probably Abraham, Jacob, Issac were among those. That is why they were called the _* First Fruits_*. He met with them in Jerusalem, probably around midnight that so-called Sunday morning before He met Mary six hours later.He was doing this before He ascended to heaven _with_ them. Just as the Torah says. This is what the Torah spoke of in Deuteronemy:26. But if you don't compare scripture with scripture. precept with precept...then I think it wouldn't make much sense , would it?🌈

Shalom. Honestly, no one knows what really happened to the saints that awoke from the graves. It’s hard for me to believe they died again though. Hebrews 9:27 says, “And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment,”….. I thought we only died once? So these saints died and was buried in the graves for God knows how long, just to be brought back to life, only to see death again? These wasn’t individuals that died for a hour or so, then was brought back to life. They were dead and buried in GRAVES. I think it’s just one of the mysteries of Yah! Just like no one knows where Enoch and Elijah were taken to.

First of all, it DON'T MATTER, if disagree with you on this, it don't matter if I'm wrong, or if we are both wrong. I agree 100%, Yahshua is THE firstfruits. But I do believe that Yahshua presented Himself to the Father FIRST, as the FIRST to be raised from the dead, and then COULD have, presented a hand full of firstfriuts, as the High Priest would have done on the Day of Firstfruits. And the reason King David, and others that are mentioned in Heb. 11, is because they will have a position waiting for them in the Kingdom, but these unnamed people, (which may be people mentioned in the Bible, like Job, thats not in Heb. 11)may have their position as Elders, in the Kingdom. And MAYBE, just MAYBE, there were 24 graves opened that day, and when Yahshua presented these 24, in a bundle, or sheif, they became the 24 Elders, that are in the Throne Room now. There is no mention of 24 Elders, before this happened. This is just a theory, I DON'T know, but it could be. (I don't know if Job was buried in Jerusalem, or not, I just used him as an example.) Yah Bless

what's your view about hell? to me I just don't think the Father would send us to a place of endless torture for all time because of our sins. dragon202006, I think and Scripture agrees that there is no everlasting torment in a fiery "hell". The burning bush that Moshe saw, *was not consumed*. Scripture tells us that the wicked *will be consumed* in the lake of fire. When something is burnt up, it's burnt up. It's gone. Scripture also says that we who enter the Kingdom will not remember sin, wicked people, death or any evil thing. I think that is a very comforting thought. I don't think that I would be as happy in Paradise if I was remembering all my unsaved loved ones.

Section 2 of 5 In the verse of 52 it says many bodies. When the scriptures use the word bodies it often refers to corpse or inactivity. The Greek for body whether dead or alive is rendered soma. Ptoma is rendered fallen body or dead Body. You used the scriptures which was great! All pointed to your argument. They showed no one rose from their grave or memorial sepulchral before Messiah Christ. God's written word is truth and not contradictory. So what are the scriptures actually saying? We have to really pay close attention to what the context around these two verses are saying and referring to.
