Wonderful, as always, Chris! I had to cancel my trip 36-hrs before I departed from Canada due to our government's wise travel advisory. So my 29-day trip was dashed after not being back in Thailand for about 4 years! I planned an epic journey to take amazing photos in the North and Central regions with all my photo gear. Thailand, in my mind, will always be there - the cities, the food, beaches, mountains, etc. I miss most my nieces and nephews, who are growing and are 15, 13, 11, 10, 7 and 6. I miss those kids so much, and my "uncle" experiences are slipping by! I love your videos - best to you and Haley.

Two years ago I traveled with a co-worker and visited his home country of Cambodia. I had so many amazing experiences there but one thing that was on my bucket list was to also visit Cambodia's neighbor Thailand. Unfortunately some issues popped up and we weren't able to visit but that didn't stop me from trying to get my Thailand adventures vicariously through others on KZbin...which is how I found your channel. Of course at the time you were mainly doing push-ups to show support for all the people being affected by covid back in Canada but your personality, enthusiasm and drive to help those less fortunate kept me coming back for more and I've learned so much. I really like this development project of the Chong Nonsi Canal, especially since it is located near the King Power MahaNakhon Tower, which doubles the interest of the visit in this district. The only downside - which we can see very well in your video - is the pretty hellish traffic noise. But maybe the greenery will play the role of a sound absorber. I'm impatient to see that... And, btw, congrats on 200K subscribers in only 18 months!

Hey Chris, we’ve been with you from almost the beginning. Our yearly routine for 8 years was to spend time in Bangkok then a couple of months in Chiang Mai. When the pandemic hit we made it back to the US in March 2020 after hours on the phone with airlines. Hey Chris, congrats on the achievements! I remember the first time watching your video and wondering why I was watching this random dude talk about Thailand. You were sitting under some shades to avoid the pouring rain and you talked about how you used to work in film or something. One of my best buddies is from Thailand. We grew up in Canada and had some great times, but he moved back to Thailand a few years ago. I've always thought about visiting him one day, but Thailand really wasn't anywhere high up on the travel list. Had no idea how interesting the country was until I started watching your videos. I was in Seoul 2012 too and I was impressed about the river you mentioned. It was a really good idea and I think alot of cities should think about "refurbish" their canals in the citycentres. Winning the price would be awesome. :)

Hi Chris, I started watching you from the start, I had the disappointment of the boarders closing the day before I was due to fly, so started subscribing to a few KZbinrs who I found interesting to learn a little more about the way of life in different areas of Thailand, one of which was yourself. I cannot believe that was nearly 2 years ago. Fingers crossed I land in Phuket on the 15th month to visit my girlfriend. To think you started by doing press ups for the fallen Canadian people lost to covid. Just wanted to let you know how inspirational you have been to me, I have been thinking for some time about starting a tunnel when I start my new life in Thailand one day. As a fellow Canadian from Toronto who spends the summer on Buckhorn lake by Peterborough and who’s lived for 6 years as a kid in a refugee camp in Thailand, your videos speak to me on so many levels. I left my three kids with my husband and did a “soul”o trip to Bangkok and Chiang Mai in December of 2019 right before Covid. I needed to see Thailand beyond the barbed wires we (Cambodian refugees) lived behind before we were sponsored by the Canadian government to Canada. I remember being a kid and getting an orange, bread roll and an eraser for Christmas by people like yourself who wanted to pay it forward before the term was even a thing. The impact is life long. At 40 in my home in Toronto, I still remember the hopelessness of living in a refugee camp on the border of the Thai and Cambodian border, but I also remember the smell of the orange, bread roll and eraser. It showed me that people do care and strangers out there were still rallying for us and eventually I would know life outside of that camp. The impact of kindness is everlasting and contagious…long after the orange and bread are devoured and eraser dwindle to nothing. Kindness is the guiding principle we should all live by. Stay safe and congrats on all the phenomenal achievements.

Hi Chris, gotta say your project videos inspired my wife and I to begin giving again. We had stopped a few years back for some unknown reason and watching the impact small amounts of money have on other people's lives opened our wallet again. We began giving to a local hospital we love and we started donating to an organization that works with and for trafficked girls in Chiang Mai.
