My experience says that 28° setting is the best for comfortable cooling. I have been setting 28° every summer for many years. I am using Panasonic 3 star for the last 8 years without any maintenance cost. Of course, I do servicing of my A.C. myself every year. One should learn how to do servicing bcz we take more care for our A.C. than paid mechanics

Actually the major problem is instant cooling. This is the main reason prople keep at lowest temperature thinking of getting cold air quickly which eventually puts load on compressor. Instead set the temperature at 25-27 and wait for 5 minutes the body will adapt to the temperature and you will feel it most relaxed.

Pahel jab AC chalo karta tha tab thodi der bad jab AC apne desire temperature par reach hota tha tab compressor slow ho jata tha but ab auasa lagta hai continuously compressor chalta rahta hai.
