What is the International Slavery Museum?

The International Slavery Museum is on Liverpool Docks where many slave traders involved in transatlantic slavery would load and unload their ships.
We sent a group of Year 9 students to explore this unique museum. They discovered the grim realities of transatlantic slavery but they also found out about the legacies and the culture that grew up to resist slavery and oppression.
