The payoff is same on exp between bull call spread and fut+colar but diffrent in Intraday. Future has hard delta and buying options will have lesser delta( not 1), hence the PNL will be different in both the strategy. Fut+collar is better even if mkt moves quickly in your direction and also if it moves slowly close to the expiry. Unlike fut+collar a bull call spread will make profit only when the move is slow and as close as to your expiry else it will show very very less profit

This is amazing ! What a twist in the end (collar = bull call spread) i.e., but the only difference is bull call deals with ITM and the collar deals with OTM. But when to execute a bull call and a collar is the real eye opener !

In bull call spread we can't do adjustment but with color if our trade goes against us we can book profit in sell and can move to the next price.

"If you play with Futures, your turnover will be very high" -- No, this is not true. Only the profit or loss thats made in a futures trade is calculated as Turnover. But for an options trade it's "sell value + profit/loss". So turnover is more for option trades than futures. Charges are high for futures, and MTM settlement is in Cash, unlike Options.

Sorry Brother, The Buy and Sell volume is calculated as Turnover, The profit is calculated as Gross Profit and the profit after expenses are calculated as Net Profit, having said that auditing before filing is not a huge hassle, it will cost only 2500-4000 Rs. extra to the accountant based on the transactions

Very insightful. I've been doing Bitcoin options. I buy a leap call deep in the money then sell a weekly call ATM or out of the money. Then for protection I sell a weekly OTM put, financed by another short call. I don't know if this is the best option.

I think there’s something wrong with your synthetic collar strategy..you said that if we buy 14700 ce n sell 15300 ce, the pay-off will be same as that of future collar strategy but you forgot to mention about the cost of intrinsic value in case of synthetic collar strategy..

I tried to intiate the "Synthetic Long" in December 2021. But i keep getting MWPL problem. It's better SEBI gives the leverage of atleast 6 times. Learn technical analysis and if you are able to catch 1 or 2 bank nifty moves in intraday, it is enough. You will get mininum 10 to 15% or even more profit on your capital in option selling. No need to apply straddle, strangle, condor and other option strategy. Keep trading simple and don't carry the positions unless you have very big capital. SEBI has introduced peak margin to safeguard the interest of big players and not retail investors. Ofcourse one should learn technical analysis and then only start trading in options. Instructors like you should urge SEBI for leverage instead of teaching all thes complicated option strategies.

You cannot make profit unless you have emotional control over yourself. I will give you one simple practical example how to earn profit. You should have some basic technical knowledge of reading charts and option chain analysis while trading in options If you have a capital of Rs. 90k you can earn a profit of Rs 10k in a month. It comes to minimum 10 to 12% gain on your capital as per present leverage of 2 times. If you get more leverage your profit will increase.
