Well since the JK he is driving off-road in this one is mine I can tell you. (He starts the video inside a Jeep that is not mine) L86 10speed Running Dana 60’s Metalcloak 3.5 lift Falcon adjustable shocks. Teraflex bump stops 40’s Running 5.38’s but that may change now with the 6.2 in it. Just got it back and the thing run’s unbelievable. Just cruises down the road effortlessly.

@@johncasale466 No worries..I love them, I was running a Fox 2.0 and they did fine but having the ability to run them stiffer on the road and softer offroad and in the rocks is a game changer in my option.

Great video. Im wondering now giving the direction Chrysler is going to all electric in the next few years that after going bankrupt will GM buy out the Jeep division and put these engines in at the factory.

Really liking the idea of using an L82 in my JLU. 8 or 10 speed whatever is cheaper. Do you think I can get away with using the stock gearing 3.45, on 35’s?

My JLU has an L83 and 30's and 3.4 gears; It cruises at 90 MPH with ease and fries the tires off the line. I'd say 3.4's with 35's is a little tALL and may make a good highway gear but you would have to assess street performance. A lot depends on the weight, altitude..... but if you already have those gears give it a try, the LT is very flexible, especially with THE 10 speed - 4.7:1 1st gear.

I’m in Colorado and will be going to your shop when I do the swap. Make sure I can get it to pass emissions. Also, I’m not a big fan of the stock gearing. Dana 30 and 44 w/LSD. No armor or winch yet.

We have applied for an LT EO for the late model JK's and the JL/JT's, will hopefully have it by next year. Not really a fair assessment on the above JK as it was not built to an EO standard many years ago and has not been submitted for an EO inspection. It came back to our shop to be updated for exhaust, evap etc which has taken some time. The vehicle had a cracked fuel tank which goes to show these vehicles must be 100% before submitted.
