The mark of the beast is described first in Genesis 4, which is the mark that the YHVH put on Cain, who slew his brother. This act of marking the person who shed innocent blood is the same process that repeats in every generation to some manner, and will repeat in our generation in a final culmination that will be happening soon. Nobody is ready for the real mark and what it will create, or by real I mean the final mark. It will not be fun for anyone to deal with who does not get it, as they will be shunned, tortured, sent to concentration camps, beheaded, etc. As it was in the days of Noah, so will it will be in the end of the world.

At least the other religions and philosophies have a body. Is it the body of the guy? who knows, but at least they have something. You only have your word. The tomb is empty because Jesus Christ is buried but rises again! He appears to many after His resurrection to announce God's triumph. Michael the Archangel and his identity have been a controversial topic among various religious groups for many years. It is a topic that is also often misunderstood. He is mentioned in the Torah, Bible, and even the Quran. Many Christians believe that the Michael who appears in the Bible is in fact Jesus Christ. They don’t believe that Jesus is an angel, because Michael is never actually called an angel in the Bible. Instead, he’s called the “archangel,” meaning head of the angels or chief of the angels. Jesus and Angels Differences The Bible is very clear that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh (Romans 9:5; John 1:1-3,14; I John 5:20; John 10:30; Isaiah 9:6; Jude 1:25; Colossians 1:19; John 20:27-29; 1 John 5:7). Angels are created beings and Christ is their Creator (Colossians 1:16, 17, John 1:1-3). Christ is God and the angels are charged to worship Him (Hebrews 1:3-8, 13, 14). “For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?… But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom” (Hebrews 1:5, 8). Thus, Jesus cannot be a mere angel and should never be referred to as one. This begs the question, is Michael an angel or something more? Michael in the Bible Michael is mentioned in both the Old and New Testament. The name Michael means, “who is like God.” Thus, it is believed that Michael the Archangel a name for Jesus, the Son of God, when He assumes the role of the chief of the army of heaven. This is because Jesus is given many names in the Bible. He is called the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the Root of David (Revelation 5:5, 6), the Lamb of God (John 1:29, 36), Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6), King of kings and Lord of lords (Revelation 17:14; 19:15-16). These are just to name a few. Therefore, the study of Scripture must be examined in regards to this idea. Based on the functions and attributes stated of Michael in the Bible, it will be determined if this idea is biblical or not.

Thank you for your Bible question, @Lucy Shiloh Lopez. A quick look in a Bible concordance reveals that there are 15 references to the name Michael in Scripture. Ten of these are simply people named Michael. It is the identity of Michael, the archangel and prince, mentioned in the last five references that we need to study. The first three of these references to Michael are in the Old Testament book of the prophet Daniel. The last two are mentioned in the New Testament books of Jude and Revelation. With an honest study and comparison of these and other verses, clues quickly emerge that lead us to an inescapable conclusion of Michael's true identity He is none other than Jesus-He is not a created angel or cherub, but this name is another of the many grand titles for God's eternal Son! At first glance, the Old Testament appears to portray Michael as a prince, and the New Testament describes Him as an archangel.
