It looks like its just using swap instead of ram to run the system. You would need to test it without swap for me to accept these tests.

it literally says “memory swapping occurs OVER 13.4GB” meaning it’s only using the set memory i give it for the OS (0:33)

@@FelineTechie doesn't it use the pagefile on the VM to run on low memory? this 13.4GB implies that your host will page memory to the swapfile, not the VM, VMs have their own pagefile and will swap by default

@@FelineTechie VMs have their own page file. That 13.4GB limit is where VMWare will stop locking the VM's "virtual physical RAM" in physical RAM and will start swapping the VM's "virtual physical RAM" into the host's page file. But if the VM is running out of RAM, it will swap to it's own page file (inside the VMDK) as "virtual virtual RAM".
