What Is The Most Useless Ability In Overwatch 2? (All Roles)

Hello people, today I have decided to do a short little dive into the whole arsenal of abilities we have in the game. Usually we try to do something productive, maybe some strategies, but this time I went the opposite direction, searching for the most useless ability in the entire game of Overwatch 2. It doesn't mean they are the worst overall, just those abilities get the least value or in other words give little to no impact when you look at the whole game overall. This was a fun little adventure, I hope you enjoy this video, and usually I think to myself, what a wonderful world, but other times I wonder if anyone is even reading those descriptions so in case you want to make me feel stupid and prove you read all that then end your comment with the phrase "Sombra sucks" so I know you're a real G, and I will totally not screen shot your comment to use it in any of my later videos. Love how he pretends rez is high risk as he shows footage of Mercy touching for a nanosecond to rez then fucking fly away from a corpse that's probably getting rez after being dead for 9min

Thats the value of the ult, the rsles forced the mercy to come down from the heavens to touch mu filthy husk of a body to grant it the magical powers to breathe again, so dont get your abilities mixed up

As someone who makes this stuff as Mercy, i can agree that it's nanosecond, but on other hand enemy team can do so much in this same nanosecond if you not careful enough.

Combat roll also has one more point of utility, While rolling, you take less damage, at least that is how it worked at some point, and I don't know how much reduction it is exactly, however I bet someone somewhere survided a diva ult with an accidentally well timed roll somewhere in the damage drop off radius.

It still reduces the dmg, You survive D.Va bomb while kissing the bomb with 12 HP

Lifeweaver's dash is on a longer cooldown and shorter distance than hanzo's leap but IT HEALS

@@HeySimply plus, when using manual swap scheme he can do the dash on ground and when jumping while dashing on ground grants you a bunny hop so Leap = 7m Weever dash = 6m Weever dash with jump tech = 10-13m?

Hanzos even forget they can jump… I’ve seen Hanson’s rushing to the objective not once realizing they have a movement ability the best usage of the movement ability was when a hanzo dashed into a wall.

Platform can be used as saving ability from grav or orisa’s ult, it is such a game changing

Revive is free life when you most of the time using your Kirtzkrieg for that juicy crockets. Petal platform is literally mini Sigma ult, and Reinhard doesn't have a shield, you won't fool me like that. : D

@@adiamondtrash9344 But it is, you making everyone in small radius go up which can force c9 and win you game. And why you think it's rude ? Sigma ult give you ability of puppeteer to force enemies out of position. As somone who plays a lot of Sigma i see correlation with he's ult and petal platform. And for clarification i said that petal platform THIS much important and useful that it like mini Sigma ult and not Sigma ult useless or something similar. The only bad part about he's ult is that he can be slept/hacked , but i think it's for balance reasons like Moira and Reaper. In other words i just wanted to say that this abilities is more useful that you think and with smart usage you can make some almost impossible scenarios work.

I disagree with Javelin Spin being as far down as micromissiles. It's like Sigma's grasp on a shorter cooldown, gives speed, knocks enemies away, and deals damage, all in exchange for not giving health.

Look, im sorry, but i think the CLEAR winner for the worst dps ability is widowmakers mine, it does pitiful damage, literally has 1 HP, and hitbox generally isnt that big. Hell, it doesnt even give walls to her other teammates. With hanzos leap, it gives a pretty good mobility tool, now im pretty sure you were talking about JUST the leap, however with the leap AND wall climb, your probably not gonna kill hanzo. With cassidy roll, while it isnt a OP ability, it is pretty good, it reduces damage by 75% now, and reloads ammo, and while it is quite small, the mobility is enough.

Widow is already a fragile character so ANYTHING that can help her survive a dive, or warn if anyone is on the flank is much more usefull than some acrobatics

Unless they took this buff away (idk i never play mcree) his roll can also give him the damage reduction to survive a dva bomb if your good enough at timing it

I might not be experienced enough but I believe winstons ult is really usless half of the time ur not doing anything but smacking some random enemy thats getting healed and the other half of the time your just getting bombarded by the enemy team and die in first five seconds of ulting

The trick with getting kills with primal is to isolate people, especially if they have a support that doesn’t have to aim to heal (mercy, weaver, brig, etc). You can do that by either primaling them into an empty area of the map or by knocking squishies into your team. Make sure you always have a plan BEFORE you ult (and also practice those juggles). Primal is an almost guaranteed kill if you’ve got the knowledge and mechanics to use it.

I think DoomFist Block is by far the worst Tank ability. It sucks at actually tanking since it doesn't offer any kind of utility. Other Tanks can heal, shield off or get overhealth from abilities. Doomfist? Oh he get's to take slightly less damage, while being stuck in a wheelchair for 2 seconds. What makes it worse is how important empowered punch is for his overall gameplan, but can be very risky to get at times. Take Vortex away from Ramattra and he'd still be fine. Doomfist actively suffers from having to use Powerblock.

It might just be cause im not playing against the best people cause i myself im not great but ive got two friends who consistently get mercy rez’s on me while in the middle of a team fight due to two factors one the team aspect of a team fight as the enemy is distracted with other teammates as well as movement they can get rez’s off because they can jump spin and do other movement tricks that allow them to live long enough to rez and most of the time they can get away but again might just be me being bad so i play against othwr bad players that cant target a mercy rezing or maybe they can target her but not actually hit their shots
