Hey man, I am level 627. Is it worth it to keep grinding for both of the Ancient Archives Rods (Rod of the Forgotten Fang and Eternal King), or is the Heavens Rod better than both of them? I don't know if I should grind all the way to 750.

rotd is still better than heavens for exp though because of the lure speed but yeah heavens rod is the best money making rod it would be the best rod overall if the lure speed gets buffed and the mut chance gets nerfed to 10% with lure speed on 65% this would make it the best exp rod

You could just put a hasty enchantment and a bait with 15+ lure speed like night shrimp

@ yes but you wont be able to get 2.25x exp like rotd because if you put clever enchant on heavens rod it doesnt auto catch and is extremely slow for catching fish

@@TlhatlogoPhaladi Thats what I thought as well when i was experimenting but the thing is rotd can have clever enchant + ghost passive + instant catch, perfect catch is only like. 1.4x exp multiplier while clever is 2.25x + with the ghost that gives fish every 3 fishes

This is such an annoying development, imo. It's kinda sad to see a cash obtainable rod that has no level restriction to be so overpowered. You can be around level 90 and already be on the same spot as level +650 players. There is basically no reason to progress after you get Heavens rod. Also, the fact that they nerfed NLR a few patches ago, stating that it was OP, only to come around the corner with Heavens rod is so pathetic.
