My mom's collection of coins from the old country of Vietnam. She pass away giving her collection to us. The coins date back to the 1850s when Vietnam still have an Emperor (King). It's value surpass that of video games. Above all it's my mom's collection.

thats funny because my dad had been a mechanic in the air force then had some mechanic jobs and he had every tool of his branded with his last name. He would always etch it in every tool. When he passed in 2019 i got many of them, im not the tool type but its nice to have them and see them.

Guys I just uploaded a new video on my channel about this very thing regarding Personalized letter from Nintendo in the 90’s. These letters from Nintendo as a kid that I received from writing to them asking for information on games, etc. are invaluable to me and hits hard with this topic. Getting a Mario statue or World of Nintendo cabinet are grails, but this is a one of one grail that I don’t know anyone who has ever written to Nintendo, received a letter back, and kept them if they did.

I feel like price charting is a good tool to use for resellers because it tends to be slightly lower than market value so you can lowball ppl more , especially when buying big lots .. you end up saving a decent amount

As much as I agree that paper (scripts, manuals, drawings, press releases etc.) are way more rare and should be more expensive than any video game, you still can’t play it. It’s not a form of entertainment it is just a form of history. This is why some games will always be more expensive.

I watched Phoenix Resale first then Retro Rick came up in the algorithm. I only heard of you guys when Caleb was in a convention and he introduced Riff, Rick, and Gabo as PGS. Between those 3 channels, IMO PGS is better when I just want something to vibe on. I go to Phoenix when I want a scumbag reseller ^_^

I’d say 2 things I’d keep forever right off my brain is my copy of Chrono Trigger and loose copy of suikoden 2 in a cardboard funcoland sleeve. The chrono trigger I used to call Funcoland every single day after school and one day they finally got a copy in. I begged them to hold it and waited on my front stairs for my dad to come home. Chased his car into the driveway and asked him if we could go get it they are holding it for me! I remember him saying “let me go pee and change first!” Definitely never letting that go. Not only the memory but it’s my favorite game of all time.
